To make you jealous, I'm going for a bath. Got BH and a sore back (and sore elsewhere).

Hope the last leg goes quickly! See you later.

OH currently working on the Nursery. Wander if it will be all done by the time i go home at 5pm, so i don't have to listen to the f'ing and blinding that comes with the DIY. Argos delivered wardrobe and draws at 2 ish.
Hope he's made a start on that, and no phone calls means all the parts are there. And that we still manage to have all the fittings for the cotbed. Its been down for nearly 3 years, thats a long time for me to have kept anything "safe".

Oh my - have you been listening at our window? LOL DIY at our house usually means DH is (at some point) stomping around and swearing and proclaiming that we are NEVER going to order anything flat-packed again.... until the next time.

We will be ordering a toddler bed for DS in a couple months (when the baby is ready to move into the cotbed), and god help me, I can already hear the swearing ringing in my ears now! LOL Ah, well, at least I know he's consistent, eh?

'Forgot' and 'can't remember' and 'what was I doing?' seem to be a pregnancy mantra.

Tell me about it. Also forgot to go through pigsback or cashback site when i did my recent internet shopping with Kiddicare and Argos. I am just so carp. I'm lucky they still allow me to actually work.

I can't stand it, i soon as he starts tidying, moving things, or starts DIY i get this itchy feeling that i just have to get out of the house before he blows. We have a three storey house and i could still hear him f'ing on the third floor, when he was putting the TV unit together.

I'm not jealous of your BH or sore back :p- but to be at home...

Aless - I know, I could be on ML now, but they may as well keep paying me. 2 days to go - but the question is, will my boss actually make it into the office to find out what bits he has to do for the next 6 months? :rotfl:

I usually just sit back for a couple minutes while he goes off, then say "alright, ya done now?" and then we fall back into our usual routine of me reading the instructions and him doing the put-together part. :rotfl:But for some reason, as a guy, he just needs to go through that going off stage first. I'm convinced it's a guy thing.

Same happens here WM - once the DIY comes out I beat a hasty retreat and can still sometimes hear him. On one memorable occasion I actually left the apartment and could hear him from the street.

Still, I don't have to build the furniture and that pleases me :)

Off out for spicy dinner tonight - hopefully that will set things off. And tomorrow we're getting our taxes/admin stuff sorted, and I live in hope that she will decide to make an escape attempt so Husband has to take care of that too. Hurrah!

Home time. May be back later, with update on how nursery is looking. Bye.
  • You're welcome Tia. It's been really interesting reading the birth stories. Might get OH to look too at some point but don't want to scare him!!

Hope you get some movement soon.

I'm going home to now to finish packing up ready for the big move tomorrow!! Whoop whoop!

I found a real birth video on Youtube  Having given birth 3 times, i still had not seen an actual birth. I watched it  and was in floods of tears *OMG i'll be doing that again reaaaaaaaaaaalllly soon!* lol
If google doesn't know it, how should i?
