Hmm just had a interesting phone call, An ex boyfriend has just called me at work because he lost my mobile number on his phone. Have not heard from him in over a year or so and he was being !!!!!y about my oh saying things like " So is he going to marry you or give you kids yet then " !!!!!!! When i said yes he is and i am due in dec he did not belive me at all. Then kept going on about himself for a little while longer. Then it finally dawned i was telling the truth i would love to have seen his face and that was it phone call pretty much over. THANK GOD IT WAS NOT HIM THAT I AM HAVING THIS BABY WITH :j :j :j

 Umm? According to the list your baby isn't due until 30 July, and pregnancy lasts for 9 months so how can you be more than 9 months pregnant, yet still nearly 3 weeks before you're due?

Pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks, which if you follow a lunar calendar - which makes sense to me since my cycle is 28 days - is actually ten months.

3 months is calculated as 12 weeks, 6 months as 24 which means 9 months is 36 weeks - leaving 4 weeks at the end unaccounted for. The number of months you are is normally the completed number, IYSWIM - at 4 weeks you are 1 month pregnant, although you've been pregnant for 28 days and not 31 like with calendar months.

I'm 38 weeks tomorrow, which means I have 14 days left and then 7 days before an induction.

Wonderful, Lou - what a fantastic thing to happen!

I've just managed the impossible - a hotel room in central Munich, for three people, including breakfast, and a mini kitchen, for a week, for £400. With 10% cashback.

And I booked my HP IV ticket for tomorrow too!

Sugar - thanks for the lunar link. Interesting. Do the health care providers work it out that way too in Germany?

Yes, Suzy, since it's all done by weeks pregnancy's a ten month event.

Which is still an improvement on France, where it's a 42-week event and they have you doing callisthenics a day after the birth.

Well they go from the first day of your last period as well when you aren't really pregnant so that takes care of two weeks. Off to google callisthenics now.
