Edit: and once more the nurse felt it ok to tell me how enormous my belly is. I'm nine and a half months pregnant - was she expecting a six pack under my shirt?!
Umm? According to the list your baby isn't due until 30 July, and pregnancy lasts for 9 months so how can you be more than 9 months pregnant, yet still nearly 3 weeks before you're due? 0 -
Susy and NMS, I'm Tameside too - East Manc but work in Trafford Park! Just thought I'd butt in with that one! As you can see though from my small number of posts, I'm a bit anti social!! xxxMy baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0

Afternoon Ladies,
quick question for you's, Am starting to look for baby stuff coz the misses will be dropping in Dec. I've been tasked with getting a bottle steriliser and am unsure whether a plug in one or a microwave one will be best option. Any advise will be gratefully received. Cheers, Matt.
Hi Matt Congratulations
Its down to personal choice really has your other half expressed any preference ? What type of bottles will be she be using or is she going to try breast feeding ?

Oh, Hi Jam  I'm from the same town as the in-famous doctor! Are you going to Tameside Hospital too then? If so I can recommend the labour day at the hosp - we found it very informative and it was great to see the ward, delivery rooms, pool etc. They seem very relaxed about pain-relief and seem to have the attitude if that's what you want and if that will make things easier, then thats fine

Don't worry about the post count - see how long I've been registered, it's only since posting on here that I have come out of lurkdom, but I only really post on this thread!
SS - don't know what to suggest - you really have tried most things - you might just have to sit this out
SM - still don't know what you mean :A0 -
OOh i just noticed i got my orange star Yay ME !!! :j:beer::j:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

NMS - the only thing my town is famous for is being kicked out of the FA cup last year for playing an ineligible player (google the Bloods FC if ya interested - very sad season ticket holders me and OH lol). I'm sure we play you guys at some point.....
Yes I'll be at Tameside. Got the labour day booked for a week on Sat (25th). I really want a home birth but want to see the wards etc in case I have to go in (or simply change my mind last minute
). Only got 9 weeks to go and the midwife mentioned they deliver the HB kit at 36 weeks - thats only 5 weeks away  Thats the first time I think I have really thought about it!! Must get on and buy my pool to have little un in!!!
You'll have to let me know how you get on in the hospital - hear good and bad stories so not sure what to think (cept I hate hospitals!!) xxxMy baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0 -

Can't really help as wont be getting bottles myself but if you go for a microwave one I've heard you need to check it will fit in your microwave.
