Can't believe how quiet it has been - NMS, EA, Harley and Jillie, you all seemed to disppear at the same time

Morning. Sorry I disappeared, suddenly everything went dead and all I could get was 'internet explorer cannot open webpage'. Was same this morning then had the brainwave of turning the wireless thingy on and off and, hey presto, I'm back!!

Very glad too, came on to wish Glam and EA luck with their scans today. Will be thinking of you both.

Thanks too, to Elle for scaring me about having bubs this early:rotfl:. I'm not ready, still far too much to do and buy. Would love to finish work though. Was thrilled to see Rhys is home btw. and loving the new pics of him.

Am off to work now but may be back if there are lots of sneezing, snuffly people. Thanks Fitzio for your advice, I think I would kick up stink about it but come home anyway, cos he would almost certainly have infected a load of people and their symptoms wouldn't show for a couple of days, by which time it could be too late.

Anyway, running late now. Have a great day all.

Had a nice couple of days in York, but didn’t do too much walking. Just made it nice and relaxing and did the bus tour and wandered round a few places and ate out etc. The worst part was the car journey. Stopped about every hour to go to the toilet, which was fine, but my back was in agony by the end of the journey.

Me and OH planned a weekend to York a few weeks ago but decided it was too far in the car and ended up going to Oban, which was just enough travelling for me (we're about 15miles from Edinburgh).
Oban was lovely but I was disappointed at not going to York again cos I love it there. However, reading that I'm glad we didn't go:o
Hope your back pain eased when you got home

    Ergh I feel like crap!

I got home from work last night and had to go straight to the loo, TMI - I had the worst diaoreeha that I have ever had, I was honestly on the loo for like 2 hours

OH was running around franticly cos I was in agony, and I was crying (pathetic I know) he was googling whether I could take immodium, some sites said yes, some said no, tried to ring NHS direct who said they were very busy, but there was 2 options, one for swine flu, one for other enquries, and once you pressed the one for other enquries they just said sorry cant take your call and the call ended, which infuriated my OH, they cant ignore everyone else cos of swine flu.

When I eventually managed to get off loo, I had really wobbly legs and pains in my legs, I had a really bad shiver and was freezing, and generally felt very sorry for myself.

I didnt have to go again last night, but I woke up in the middle of the night shivering and had a sneezing fit!

I am now at work, and I am getting pains in my belly again like I got yesterday and I am praying I dont have to go to the loo again, but I feel sick at the same time and I am hungry but I am too scared to eat anything :(

Also paraniod me is comign in here, got to work this morning and someone from our block has swine flu, so we all got issued with a letter, and it mentions pregnant people and if I am concerend to talk to my line manager, well thats not really usefull info is it?

Any advice anyone on the diaoreaha? (I could never spell that lol)

I am going to go back and catch up on last ngiht's takling now :)

Kindof: I was advised not to take immodium when pregnant. You must keep taking fluids tho. Phone your GP if you are worried. Hopefully its just a 24 hr bug that'll pass. I had severve diaorreha at 18 weeks and I ended up in hospital cos I was passing blood. There was no reason for it tho, and I still have it, tho less servere at 31wks, the consultant reckons mine is pregancy related and I just have to grin and bear it for the next 2 months.

Kindof - definitely agree that it is important that you keep drinking liquids - it'll help flush the bad bacteria through your system, as well as keeping you hydrated. Bananas are supposed to be good for any type of bowel problem, as they promote the growth of the good bacteria in the gut - supposed to be good for both loose bowels and constipation. (they're also easy on the stomach and keep your potassium levels up)

Thanks guys, I didnt take the Immodium in the end, I probs should have said that lol, I didnt want to without any advice from a doctor of some sort.

I am drinking lots of water and decaff coffee, so hopefully that will help sort me out, and I do have some banana's here with me as well so I may eat one of them in a min.

I am just really scared of going to the loo again :( especially at work :(

Morning ladies - no news from Skinty? Hopefully she's busy with her bubs.

Thanks all for the labour vibes, they've not worked yet but I'm sure they will soon enough.

I would like to offer some advice to anyone else who might be suffering pregnant brain - if you don't wear some sort of pantyliner after EPO "insertion" you're going to ruin your underwear. *oops*

Feel better, KIAG - tummy bugs are rotten any time but so much worse when you're pregnant. Drink a lot of water.

Good scan vibes to Glam and EA, labour vibes to Tia and Nik and a very happy day to everyone else.

Kind - pictures just for you :D I hope you feel better soon - I've found if I've been feeling sick it's usually because I need something got eat - dry toast/biscuit etc...
More labour vibes for SS, Tia & Niknak!

Right must pretend to do some work - not that I have any to do :) - so I will be eagerly waiting on news from Skinty & Tink!
