I bought the AAA and AA (along with their charger) from 7dayshop and been in my cupboard for a month or 2 and have gone flat. They are the Ni-Mh type as well. I thought this wasnt supposed to happen with this type?

Yeah, they discharge slowly over time, thats why they arent recommended for things like remote controls.

Really? I bought them thinking they would stay charged! was going to use them in a remote too.

Nothing to stop you using them in a remote but as you have found you'll just have to charge them up every month.

But what size batteries are they? I can't make it out on the advert but they aren't 2300, looks like they could be 800!

If its the Uniross X-Press 300 charger then its available in 3 retail packaged versions:

    - with 4 AA 2300mAh
    - with 4 AA 1300mAh
    - with 4 AAA 900mAh

Anyway, I'm happy with the Directfoto deal of £11.99 for the X-Press 300 charger, 4 AA 2300mAH, 4 AAA 900mAH, C cell converters and D cell converters :D

Just blown up the Netto photo and it definitely looks like the 900mAh AAA's which, for £4.99 is excellent considering that the batteries alone could set you back £5.99 elsewhere. All you need to do now is to find a bargain 4 pack of 2300mAh AA's and you could equal the Directfoto deal! :)

Just had a check at the Directfoto site and the 4x2300mAh AA's are £6.99 which includes free P&P.

So, with the Netto deal you end up matching the original Directfoto offer.

Matter of fact, you save a penny! :j
