  • Looks like it only does 2 batteries at a time?
Searching on the web found the same model charger but looking completely different- that deffinately takes 4 batteries at a time.
Also seems that it is a slow (overnight) charger?

I think there might be some better deals - anyone?

Don't worry. I've aleady bought mine as I got it with the £17.99 1gb SD card and it doesn take 4 at a time. It takes 2 at the front and 2 at the back. It's a very clever piece of kit actually. It's switches off the one side when it's done and will keep charging the other side if there is still more to charge. There's a little flick switch on them to that comes down to allow the AAA batteries to get a perfect fit.

I've been looking for a charger for ages. You can't even get this deal as cheap on ebay. And that's before postage. I challenge anyone to find a better deal! :D
  • I bought one of these off Ebay a couple of months ago for less than £9 delivered, they are still on Ebay now if you search, but they only came with 4 x 2300 mah AA batteries though, not the AAA. It charges 4 batteries at a time and takes 9 hours to charge.
  • Great offer just bought it post free as mentioned, carl east you found a good one here. THANKS :j

;)!!!!!!There are More Questions Than Answers!!!!!!

just to say about 6 months ago I bought a charger from 7dayshop which was around £7 I think - no free batteries though, and totally different to the charger you are talking about apart from one thing. I could not understand why the the AAA batteries would not fit or charge, just read the above post by Carl and finally worked it out!! a flick switch!! :T I am normally quite technically minded (I think...) but had a bit of a blind spot here.. thanks carl
I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...
  • Sounds good but the AAA's are 900NiMhs. Is this low capacity or normal for AAA? I'd be using an AAA for my MP3 player so I'd want a good battery for that..

From looking at various suppliers over the last few weeks, 900 mAH is pretty much top of the consumer range for AAA's - should be more than adequate for an MP3 player.
