The remainder of my ebay items listed are at a grand total of £55.73 so far - some have quite a few watchers - I'd love to reach £100 with this lot:j. I still have loads to list and plan to list some more items tomorrow - my target is 10. I'm counting on you lot to nag me all day tomorrow until they are listed:D

I also have £179.89 confirmed in Top Cashback. The bad news is that £55 of that should have been paid at the end of August and is still waiting to be made payable - the rest should have been paid at the end of September but still nothing:mad:. Hope this clears soon as it would be a great boost. Any other ideas of how to make some cash?! Tried the lottery - didn't win:cool:. I even did that "putting it on with the last £1 in my purse" thing which is the sob story I've read many times - but no luck:confused:

Doesn't look like the postie has anything for me ...........he just walked by:o. Oh well, need to wait and see what tomorrow brings! Off to M&S outlet with some M&S vouchers to get a couple of Xmas presents in:xmassmile.

I know many of you will curse me, but I'm actually doing quite well with the Xmas shopping - most of it "free" of course (well, with vouchers earned via survey sites!). Hubby refuses to not buy anything for my birthday, so I've given him the House of Fraser vouchers we have to "buy" me some perfume!:D

    Morning Gar

Thats excellent money from ebay - especially over £50 for a pair of shoes.
I must try some more ebaying soon - I sort of gave up after not doing very well but I have some items I think will be good to list in the run up to christmas (sparkly clothes and such).

Get those other items listed while you are on a roll!

    Hi gargrave :hello:

I'm glad to have stumbled across your thread! It's taken me a while to catch up from the beginning (especially as I've been doing it sneakily at work!) ;)

I can relate to your cause completely!! All the ignoring of letters, resending info 8 times, computer generated muppetry! Creditors writing asking me to phone them!?! The no word *ever* in my case from Barclaycard! Grovelling apology letter from the AA (I have a loan with them)!

I've not looked into CCA stuff, or reclaiming charges but I will be now...!

My worst letters are those that tell me not to ignore them or that they've not heard from me. I take it personally when they claim I am doing nothing or ignoring them etc as whatever spare time I can muster is spent dealing with this, if not hands on, my brain is usually whirring away.

Great Ebay totals! Best of luck, will look forward to more installments :A

Thanks Tixy - I'm just about to cut the front garden grass before collecting DS from school. Then my plans are to make a cuppa and sit down to list at LEAST 10 items. I'm trying to spread them out so that I'm not snowing the nice lady at the Post Office under!!!!

    Hi Rainy

Nice to have you along - I'm impressed you have read the entire thread:eek:.

I love writing letters to these muppets (as you may well have guessed:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:). The ones which include the advice sheet on dealing with debt get an especially good reply from me.

Generally, I tend to take each point from the help sheet and bullet it within the body of the letter.

    My favourite one is generally

Do not ignore the problem - I'm not [CREDITOR's NAME] are ignoring me! I have written on xx etc.

Makes me chuckle every time I write one of these. Good luck with your CCA requests - I think we may well have snowed under the robots who work for these large creditors ddd.gif

I lurve the idea of taking the help sheet and answering back with it!

*Rainy stuffs this idea in her pocket to use at next opportunity*

    :T:A:D:j

I like the socking it to em letters. They have been nicknamed my Hiiiyaa! letters and I do actually say that as they go into the post box (after checking over my shoulder to see if anyone is there!) :o
