  • Morning!

None for me either, think the horribly cold weather has scared the postmen off. They're sitting in their vans with the heating on!
It'll come soon though, I'm sure!

Not a very MSE day today, need to go out and buy hat gloves and scarf. It's unbelievably cold! Going to research on the net before venturing out though :D

You can make it MSE if you then sit in said hat, gloves and scarf in the house instead of switching the heating on ;)

It was cold last night - I've switched into proper frumpy winter fleecy pjs now. I even considered wearing bedsocks last night. Very alluring!!:rotfl:

  • What immediately jumped out at me was the £100 a month for entertainment. Are you able to break down what exactly that entails? It seems a huge amount, given what you're trying to accomplish. :) Good luck! We'll be with you.
Hello I am new to this and this is a message to leesouth east (i think that is the name) how have you managed to pay of some muhc debt?

You wait til your in London with no OH to warm your cold feet on :p.

However one night last winter I'd left said socks and head to toe pjs in the bed and had to hurridly whip them away and hide them when I had a 'guest' - mortifying!:o

I can only imagine - sounds like a moment from a Bridget Jones movie :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm happy to say I have began listing my Ebay items - 11 on, about 5 or 6 more to go. All photographed and just need me to get my thinking cap on for some jazzy descriptions :D

DS had a birthday party yesterday and another today. My plans are after the party today to dispatch him to his Gran's house for a couple of hours with OH does some DIY and I ebay my little heart out:D

    Hi gargrave,

just popped by to see if you had any news regarding lazy Mr Postie. I'm not getting anything myself at the minute regarding credit card charges, but Crapital One have said that I have no claim for PPI premiums which they said they sold legally to me. Don't see how when the contract I signed 10th June 2000 quite clearly has box ticked for no to PPI. They said that a telephone conversation on 21st June 2000, I agreed to PPIpremiums. No way I would have said no and then 11 days later changed my mind. They also said they monitor these conversations to ensure that PPIs are sold lawfully, but in 2007 they were fined by the FOS for not monitoring their calls. Surely if that the case they weren't monitoring in 2000. Can I ask for a copy of the telephone conversation, and is 2000 too late to be claiming?
Hope you get some good news soon in the post, could do with cheering up, and it's always nice when someone beats the banks at their own game. X

    Hi Jodan:hello:

    No news for me

Have you been on the PPI reclaim threads for some advice? Sounds dodgy to me - I would suggest there should be a next stage to pursue this one (but I don't know what it is as I've never paid for PPI!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
