Quick update from this morning peeps
.
Well Cole is in big trouble. First day of the school holidays, and he hasn't returned for lunch. I'm quite aware he is out playing with friends, he does this on a regular basis. So when he does eventually return he is grounded:mad:. On the plus side, I was planning on using the Tesco cinema tickets to treat Cole and a friend to the cinema tomorrow - instead will go to the cinema and prebook tickets for next weekend instead.
Bad news - the car needs a new battery. Never mind, Alan's mate owns his own garage and always sorts out our mates rates.
RBS called me today following receipt of my request for compensation, and have deposited £50 in my account as a sorry:D. I'm very pleased with this, although I suspect I could have milked them for more;). I have transferred this princely sum to the Aussie pot, which now stands at £1694.41:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j.
Also have had a reply to another of my Gumtree ads for Cole's Nintendo DSi. I had advertised it for £80 with four games, however have agreed £70 with a very nice lady, who is hopefully coming to collect it this evening:T.
After reading Great Benders plans re: eBay, I am ashamedly taking that as a kick in the rear to list some of the 20 item allowance I have left for June:o.

Glass of wine poured.
Suitcases collected - very happy with them.
Going to do all the ironing and photographing, and let the ebaying frenzy begin tomorrow. Maybe a few more things will be listed on Gumtree tonight xLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Ahem... wel.. umm.. I haven't actually done any e-baying after all. Decided to wait and list for 7 days on Sunday, so they'll still end at a peak time. Need to take more photos, but quite a lot of stuff to gather up before that.
We did go to Aldi for our big shop though. First time. VERY impressed. The basket-full of lovely looking food that we got came to £58 but would easily have been a three figure sum in Sainsbury's! Very pleased and we even managed a few packs of biscuits and a couple of wee desserts.0 -

I've never tried Aldi funnily enough. I've been couponing and trying to empty the freezer and store cupboards as we prepare to pack up:D.
I didn't list anything last night either. Hubby is taking me out for a few drinks to the place we are having our leaving party tonight, so we can pay the balance. Think I will save my ebaying until tomorrow, as I won't be going over the door!
PS Got your PM, leave it with me. I should be able to PM you a link :A.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Well took the kids to the cinema to waste a wet day using our Clubcard vouchers. Ice Age 4 - as brilliant as the rest!
Went to Nando's - they won't move my current rewards onto a new one so if I don't use them tomorrow they will expire.
Alan's brother and his girlfriend love a Nando's, and I'm vaguely expecting a hangover tomorrow, so might ask them if they want to either 1. have them or 2. join us for dinner. We have enough for a full chicken and a half chicken. That's enough to feed 4!
Used my Boots advantage points up and bought more Banana Boat suncream. Got the car fixed, so there goes the cash from DSi last night. Never mind.

Well, the Nando's voucher will get used tonight.
I have (as expected), a hangover.
I am using the Nando's voucher to get the chicken which will make up part of tonight's evening meal. Going to buy some spicy rice and chips from Nandos to accompany, as you have to spend £6 to redeem the voucher. That, my dears, means no cooking for me - and I can eat Nando's in my pyjamas.:j:j:j
Gave the remaining cinema tokens to my sister in law because I am a lovely person, so she is taking her niece to see Ice Age today.
Should be Gumtree-ing and Ebaying, just going to work up enough energy to get started.

I have an ebay question.
When you list on ebay, do you list a starting price of £0.99 or do you try to start with the absolute minimum you would accept?
Of the 9 items I've listed I started all but 2 at 99p and 4.99 for the ones that I figured should get a bit more (digital camera that works but has a fault on the corner of the LCD, and an Apple Power Adaptor), but I"m wondering if, when I'm listing the rest of my stuff, I should try to be a bit more specific about values or just take the view that I want to get rid of this stuff and that if it's worth it, people will pay?0 -
Just found an email from Groupon when trawling through my inbox.
It's a £5 voucher but must be redeemed today. As I'm not spending (anything!), thought I'd post it on here and maybe one of you can redeem it?:)
