Do you know what? I'm a bloody great Mum and a bit of a genius. Maybe my husband should realise, that when it comes to stretching our money and making the best of what we have - all whilst paying for and single handedly organising an emigration to Australia - I am the mutts nuts.
You know what - I am going to write that book. Hope someone buys it!!!gargrave50 wrote: »Not the catchiest title - but its a start

I too am hooked and can't wait for the next instalment. Your posts are always entertaining, whether debt related, obs related or just general life related. :j
I bet you are not the first and certainly won't be the last not to be honest when you first wrote on here. After all, how do we know who is reading the posts and whether that person can identify us from the personal details we give away, little by little in our posts.
There is certainly enough info in my first post to you for some people to identify me and that is scary. There are some people I don't want to know my guilty little secret for many reasons. I am seriously considering writing my own diary as I can't write a real one in a book at home that my husband could discover. He is however such a technophobe that he'll never discover it on here.Targets

I have been lurking on your diary for a good while now, but i have never posted. I rarely post anywhere. I prefer to read
I have been amazed and inspired on how you have dealt with your debt situation.
I just wanted to say that the first part of your book was Fab.
I will def buy it when it comes out (providing i can find a discount voucher :rotfl: money saving and all that)0 -
Oops! Initially starting jotting some stuff down as a joke, before I knew it I've got an introduction and 3 chapters down!
Would value some feedback, so if anyone fancies a read for me of what I've got so far PM me your email address and I'll send it off for you to have a read.
I can't help it, its peppered with a few swear words, so apologies for anyone who doesn't appreciate that. What can I say? It's a true reflection of some of the words which came to mind whilst ploughing through my debts !:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I think I might actually give it a try - hey it probably won't get anywhere, but I really enjoyed tapping away at it last night!:DLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Having re-read the bit I've posted, I have to say I'm not that impressed with it, however you all seem to like it. I got right into the spirit of it last night, can only imagine it will get better once I add a couple of glasses of vino
.

Hello!
I've not read the previous 400 odd pages, but something made me click on the last page of your thread and here I am! I thought you were a man to begin with, because of your user name.
Your biography bit though, could have been written about ME, it's astonishing how similar we are! I assume you qualified as a midwife and that is the reason you're able to emigrate?? I got SOOO close to being a New Zealand Midwife, something I'd still love to do, before my marriage ground to a halt. I'm a single Mum now. and I'm a chef instead of a midwife at the moment (VERY long story ). I'm fairly sure I wouldn't have enough points to get me even half way to OZ at the moment but it's my ultimate aim.
I'm wittering a bit really and I don't know why I clicked on the reply button but I loved your diary and wanted you to know that I suppose. You write really well, you should definitely have a go at something commercial!0
