Well well well, so last night in a frenzy of 2 nights homework (Cole forgot his homework the day before and therefore had double last night:mad:), the phone rang. I snatched it up and said a sharp hello.........

Well was it not a bloody researcher from Wanted Down Under!!! Changed my tone sharpish and played the adorable little Scottish person. Anyway, then she wanted to speak with my husband so gave her his number and gave him a stern warning to be equally sweet on the phone. Anyway - she told my hubbie we had a very strong case to move forward in the selection process, and that the next step would be filming at home!! If we are successful we will hear in the next 2 weeks!!

Keep everything crossed (except you bonsibabe - keep the eyes uncrossed as per previous advice:D).

Used my paypal balance to buy some of the wrestling figures from my son's Christmas list! :D

Hubby also has a Saturday shift at work tomorrow - yes he is moaning like a b!tch about it, but I've told him to take one for the team. Plus its his pay day today. After finishing the Xmas shopping yesterday the bank account is still £4.4k in the black at the moment. Certainly not for long!!!

Going to tackle the Wescot demand for the HBOS overdraft today, and see what else the postie brings me............

And finally will tackle some Ebay listing. Hubby is coming home to do some work up the attic today after work. Then we are going out for dinner tonight - thanks to Pizza Express vouchers :D. Then off to the Cinema - again thanks to Clubcard Deals!!! Us frugal?! Never - living the life of riley on the budget of Scrooge :).

Thanks all for the good wishes about Wanted Down Under - very exciting indeed. If we don't hear in 2 weeks then I'll officially be in a huff! Have started planning my TV wardrobe and everything! (Don't panic its all very DFW - all clothes I already have - I don't know - the pressure you are under on here eh?!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:).

In all seriousness - it would be a fantastic opportunity to check out our life down under for free. Got an email from my employer - all my references are in and they are proceeding with the Visa application. Good times :D.

Hubby got a little narky at Cole last night for showing off in front of his friend and being cheeky to Mum and Dad - ended with Cole going straight in and to bed shortly followed by me as I was cross with Alan for shouting so much. All this and I'm headed back to London tonight :(. Never mind - will make it up to hubby when he comes home from work today by having the house all lovely and a homemade dinner all ready after he has worked out in the cold all day. Then he can drop me at the airport for the dreaded commute:mad:.

I see the postman in the street - wonder what's coming in my direction today?!
