Alan Carr was amazing! Had a lovely and fairly cheap time
.
Goft a lift to and from the airport at Glasgow and to and from Belfast. Stayed with my housemate Jade's boyfriend and bought him a nice bottle of wine and chocs from M&S to say thank you. Still cheaper than a hotel!
Got to post the last of the ebay goodies today. Banked a nice little total of almost £500.

On the debt busting front some news............
Got the £20 River Island vouchers through for the free Love Film trial and cancelled the account too.
Got a letter from Wescot re: old Cahoot loan. Total outstanding £658.48 - I offered a F&F £306 - they replied today stating they will settle for £329.24. I will be replying today stating I agree to pay their suggested settlement figure within 14 days of receiving a true copy of a valid Consumer Credit Agreement in respect of the account;).
That's all for the moment.
Moving on to attacking the 2 overdrafts next.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Just popped on to say, congrats on getting rid of so much debt so far, great to see someone sticking to it, gives other belief they too can clear their debts. :T
Hope your plans to live in Australia go ahead.0 -

Why thank you.
I try (my husband's patience usually!), and make many mistakes along the way. But the general direction is forward (most of the time)!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Nothing much to report this morning in terms of the post. Statement from Next showing my £6 agreed payment coming off. Balance £730. I could get rid of this if I had to but in truth its 0% interest and no pressure on this one.
Just to review matters as they stand today.
Well of course Barclaycard haven't in fact written off our debt. They have of course sold it to Lowells. Think today I will write and introduce myself to them.
And of course to tackle the 2 HBOS overdrafts. My plan with this is to wait for their next move. They have declined my F&F's based on 50% of the actual amount owed (not the inflated amount they pruport I owe increased by charges). So in my view, the next move is theirs.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

I will of course be happy to post the body of my letter introducing myself to Lowells - purely for entertainment purposes you understand

BTW its my birthday - a spritely 36, and my plans are :
1. Valetting the car
2. Post Office for remainder of Ebay parcels to be sent
3. Check bank accounts
4. Clean the bathroom
5. Hoover all the black astroturf beads off my hall carpet and stairs
6. Make a pot of homemade soup with left over veggies
7. Do a few washings
Who says I've lost my mojo.
