Bonsi - spending diary. Spend 50p on a notebook and make that the first line. Notebook 50p.

it also stops you spending money on carp and being wasteful. Mars bars are NOT 60p. They are £1 for 5, therefore 20p. No one says stop having the mars bar, just get it at less than half price, there is a love. haha

It will be good to build your muscles Julie. I find Ikea bags are a real bonus in the ebay transportation field.

We do a sort of spending diary in reverse now. Once we have been paid, the money left after all the bills is ringfenced and we write down everything we spend - whats left at the end of the month goes into savings.

At the moment, we are cutting back on general spending to fund a new roof:eek:, personal ebay account is funding a car purchase and business ebay account is overpaying the mortgage!

    Hi all

Well as expected the bubble has burst:(. Barclaycard has (as feared) simply sold on the debt. Never mind it doesn't change the fact there is still no CCA. Will sort this in due time.

Have waded my way through the mass of post - nothing particularly uplifting or otherwise.

The grand total of £209.87 waiting in paypal with 29 items still running with lots of interest - ooh and a good few items still waiting for payment :D.

Onwards and upwards - I have the appointment at the Court later today to have my documents certified (for free rather than £20 a doc by a Notary Public ;)). So later today my transfer of registration documents for Oz will be sent off.

    Plans for tonight are :

Stripping all the cable from the garage which my husband has built up when stripping jobs. He reckons there is £300-400 waiting there, then a quick trip to the scrap dealer with it tomorrow morning. Will post tomorrow with the grand total :D. Hoping its enough to cover the £300 my registration will cost.

No bank money received yesterday:mad:. Our Labour Ward Manager is off sick and her stand in seems a bit tardy in getting the time sheets over in time for payment. Will phone the bank office this morning and make sure this is the case.

  • £1200/tonne at my local scrap dealer. Had a nice little return a few weeks ago on a small water tank which was lurking at the bottom of my previously blocked up fireplace. Opened it up to install a wood burning stove (have access to free suppply of wood for burning).

Looking forward to trading in the cable.............think I will just enjoy a glass of wine and watch the hubby get stuck into stripping it. Don't fancy joining in :D.

    Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that I think you are a true inspiration. I read your story from beginning to end and you motivated me to start my own diary (of sorts).

How you have coped and fought just leaves me speechless and that doesn't happen often :)

I'm gonna continue to follow you (if that's okay?) because without you I wouldn't be here fighting the fight.

Much luv and keep going you're nearly there - lucky you x
