Broke his leg or bike struggling with all your post I reckon. You can look forward to twice as much tomorrow.

Postie where I used to live comes between 3.30 and 4.30pm everyday.

My postie comes at about 8.30-9 except on Saturdays when she comes at 7.30 (I think this shows how fast she can be when she has something interesting to do - and therefore she is being lazy the rest of the time!)

    I hope you are right........for the postie's sake!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

A NSD for me today :D

Well that sneaky SOB of a postie - I go out into the hall to go to the loo and there lies a mountain of white envelopes! Stealthy little git - I feel I should seek "emotional" compensation from Royal Mail for my distress:(.

Anyway not a lot to report after all that........

Ford Credit can't locate our agreement without the registration number - will need to rely on my hubby's fantastic memory.......:o

Santander have confirmed no PPI was added to our loan despite being told otherwise by the advisor. BuGG3R!

GE Money (one of our secured loans long time ago - since repaid) - have been unable to locate us and are looking for more information.

And 2 Ribena Berry magnets !!!!!!?!

    Roll on tomorrow:D

Just for your own information peeps dinner tonight is:

Pan fried chicken fillet with peppercorn sauce
Baked potatoes (rubbed with garlic, mixed herbs and olive oil cooked in oven for 2 hours)
    with griddle panned courgettes :D

Mmmm, and all bought and paid for :D

Tomorrow night I'm doing thai fishcakes in a ginger and honey glaze with stir fry....

My culinary delights are endless as the cupboards are full.....

I await the debt free delights of the postman tomorrow.

Knowing skint but optimistic, I would suggest she is purely poking fun for entertainment sake (at least its cheap/free!):p

  • I am a great fan of the postie! As long as they are bringing cheques and things I want.

Its just when fellas like us are waiting for the post, it seems like FOREVER if they are five minutes outside of the regular time!

Im all for a free jape... I work in the financial services, and thats the butt of loads of jokes... but hey that doesnt define me its just my job!

    No offence meant...

Can I just say, the binmen have been a bit off lately....

  • STOP with the fabulous cookery!! Haha I love a cook too, but its hubby on the pans tonight.

I did a slow roast chicken (as on BBC good food) and that was immense, but I did the taties seperately and parboiled them before roasting.

this is my kinda thread - funny and foodie;)

we have a fab postie who looks after our post if we're out and will wait for me at the p/o if i'm running late with my ebay parcels too:).

just polished off some courgette lasagne from the freezer. OH has an allotment, which has been super-productive this year. both freezers are full and there isn't a courgette product that i haven't made:rotfl:- the lasagne is the best as it requires six!

as for jams, well, i must have about 50 jars made. but now the plums are done i can rest for a while. i've got no jars left anyway!

i think i am almost as excited as you about your PPI claims. i too am waiting eagerly for YOUR postie to arrive;)
