Have come to some level-headed conclusions:
1. The Royal Mail have gone bust - postie turned up to work this morning to find his van clamped and his bag given to the repo man.
OR
2. He really did have nothing for me and either sneaked past my window commando style or missed out the entire street just to avoid my questioning glare:cool:.
Either way, I doubt he is coming today so will just have to save up my excitement for a double dose tomorrow. Hopefully he is still alive:eek:.
Completed all the surveys in my inbox - almost enough for a £10 Amazon voucher from lightspeed, but hoping to save it up for another £25 John Lewis one for the Christmas pot. Almost 1/3 of the way to another global testmarket payout of £30 - still waiting on my cheque from them for the last one but it usually takes 6 weeks.
Done the washing - dishes are next then maybe tackle upstairs seeing as I have nothing else to do. No letters to write or calls to make oh woe is me.
Will save banking the pennies until tomorrow - just in case Royal Mail really have gone into bankrupcy (my life will be over).
Hubby has an overtime shift for Saturday:j. He STILL hasn't taken the scrap copper from the garage to the scrapyard yet!!! That's £200 approx - hopefully his overtime money from Saturday and the scrap money we can pay off the remainder of the A&L loan.
Santander STILL haven't banked my £25 cheque - could it be they are going to scrap the £25 I owe them following my email (to which I have only received an automated response and one saying I've passed the buck to some other poor soul at Santander).LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Found a code for Lovefilm (LFAWLSRI20) for free 30 day trial + £20 River Island voucher - will just have to use a different email address to take advantage of this little beauty. The £20 RI voucher will form a large part of my sister-in-law's Christmas present

Broke his leg or bike struggling with all your post I reckon. You can look forward to twice as much tomorrow.
Postie where I used to live comes between 3.30 and 4.30pm everyday.
My postie comes at about 8.30-9 except on Saturdays when she comes at 7.30 (I think this shows how fast she can be when she has something interesting to do - and therefore she is being lazy the rest of the time!)A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
