Massive debts

Nothing much in the way of debt busting from the postman this morning. Hubby now has a van so I wrote to the inland revenue to change his tax code as he can no longer receive tax relief of work mileage - got a letter confirming they will action this.
My clubcard vouchers came through for 3 x cinema vouchers and £30 for Pizza Express = one nice little cheap family evening out
Had a little clearout found some broken gold jewellery so its off to cash4gold today. It's not going to make me a fortune but anything I get back will go straight towards boosting the balance of my prepay VISA nhs cashback card. Also sending my blackberry back to cash it in for the princely sum of £52 - haven't yet decided what to do with this - think it would be best going straight to my father in law as we have £500 still owed to him since he lent me money for my rent deposit when we moved house in London.:(
Never mind I have an inbox of surveys to do todayLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

It does make me giggle sometimes when I am genuinely disappointed that i have no threatening letters requiring a witty reply. Can you imagine how my heart dropped in the same situation only a couple of years ago?!:eek:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hi Gargrave,
Just thought I would pop on and say hello as I have been reading your thread and have finally caught up with it. I have subscribed and look forward to seeing you getting rid of the last half of your debts.
I have a lot of debt and have been dealing with it for over a year now, but I love hearing about other people's successes, makes me realise I can do it too.
Also, I thought I was doing loads of surveys every day but I noticed ones on your thread which I hadn't done before so I have now joined them too - thanks for that!
Looking forward to reading more of your posts

Gargrave - don't send your gold jewellery to Cash4gold - you will get a better deal from your local jewellers. It's also in your possession until you get the money:D

Mmmmm - pizza express! Tasty!
If you send the gold off have you looked to see if you can earn cashback as well?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
