Found one of my son's old games for the wii (he no longer has the wii!) and traded it in on Amazon for credit - £6.65 Amazon gift certificate on its way for the Christmas pot :D. Will be having a rummage for more when I go home.....

    Hey

Just a message to say that in total I've read about half of your thread. Although I am not in a lot of debt myself I find it incredible how you can have the confidence to fight through writing to all the big companies. I think it shows how much being debt free means to you. The battle will pay off soon and I wish you all the best :)). I'm also from Glasgow :)

Have fun with the debt busting!!! :D

Thank you so much it does mean a'lot to me to be debt free - I have NEVER been debt free. I know I can do it, but it would have been impossible without the knowledge and expertise of others who use the site:D.

It isn't easy but most of the time its challenging and just a little bit fun. I get bigger kicks out of paying off a debt than I ever did running it up:cool:

Had a very nice little nightshift (bank:D) in maternity triage. Didn't get a break :(, but on the bright side thats 12 hours paid instead of 11 :D.

Not a no spend day today sadly, arranged to go out for lunch with one of my housemates, and off to get some waxing done (I have vouchers to pay for this). Off to bed for a couple of hours, then off to the cinema this evening (free tickets from a previous complaint).:money:

You have hit the nail right on the head.

Although I am now debt free I got a far greater kick out of reducing my debt than I ever did running it up.

Once you are in the mindset of being really determined to get it cleared, every little step, every little victory is a real Yeeeees moment.

My bank charges £1 for a mini statement at the counter but you get it free at the ATM.

Although being debt free for a while now I can't go past one of their ATMs without stopping to get a mini statement. My thinking is that if it costs them to produce it and it is free I'll take it every time.

A very small action but it still gives me pleasure!!

Had a really busy day with only 4 hours sleep!

Long day again tomorrow - aiming for a NSD :D

I am prepared with diet coke, packed lunch and fruit. Let the good times begin.............

Just having a quick little nightcap (chilled glass of vino) whilst I have a mooch about on here then bedtime. No surveys in my inbox when I checked earlier today. Never mind, tomorrow is another day ;)
