Problem with getting seller to dispatch

  • we are a business and take many people to claims court. (comercial) we have contacted the buyer with no response. they live 2 miles from our retail shop. in this case the police have been informed and will be taking action for deception. and you dont actually go to court to see any judge. it is all automated via computers!

Just sounds like you need to sort out your returns a little better. It sounds like more of a problem with your systems and not understanding the way paypal works more than anything.

I have had my problems with paypal but I realised there are ways to minimise these by properly understanding the systems and have your own policies in place for these problems and that includes court action as Premier suggests

i know how paypal works 100% ask me a question about paypal and i wll give the answer. i am a platinum power seller with over 14546 feedback rating. i have used ebay since 1991 and understand it all perfectly. i mearly saying i would not use them if i had a choice as they have a LAW of their own

i use ebay and paypal because i have to... it plays a big part of my business. however if i was left with a choice i would not use either as they seem to have a rule and a law or their own... in other words they are playing god between buyers and sellers and i think it is not fair! i understand the buyer doe not want to loose there money and have no goods in there hands but the seller is in the same boat. they do not want to part with goods until they have the cash in there hands. even if they payment has gone through the buyer still can claim the money back through the bank system leaving the seller out of pocket! this has happened to me many times and paypal will not do anything about it. the whole system is risky... ive also had a buyer contact paypal saying he is not happy. he bought 2 expensive club lights at £399 paypal told him to send back. we missed the delivery man and the goods was returned to the buyer. paypal still gave him the money back as the delivery was attempted and left me with no goods or money. paypal yet again would not assist... this is theft in a huge way and it is about time we all got together and put a stop to it! some will agree some won't until you have these problems you won't agree.

The fact it stops scammers who used to refuse delivery of goods back, in the hope of stopping a refund to the buyer who now has paid for the goods, and delivery both ways, is enough for me.

The seller has said that they are not prepared to continue until the money is cleared into their account, and that we will have to do it a different way, i responded by saying i have done all i can, how long before i can claim my money back?

On day 7 you can open an item not received chargeback via paypal, just keep an eye on your paypal account though in case paypal 'forget' to update you on progress and in case seller tries anything funny. Make sure you keep the dispute open until you get either your refund or your goods.

does the refund a penny for release not work anymore? I've only had a 'holding' of funds from paypal once a long time ago and was suggested by other on this board to refund a penny - which worked

    Don't think it works anymore
Even if it did, accounts have been suspended for it.

    They sound really thick!

Spell it out plain and simple to them; if they don't send the item, then on <insert date 7 days after your payment date> you will open an "item not received" dispute, which means not only will you get all your money back, they will also get a strike for not sending the item, and will probably get banned from selling on ebay. (but shhhhhhhhhh, don't mention it will be because you left them a negative, warning others how stooopid the seller is!)
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
