Not a technical Q, but is anyone having problems with their points from this offer?

I managed to download it all fine, and bought a 50p CD and have still not recevied points. Do I need to forward the order confirmation e-mail to PB?

Hi,

I am on Virgin PAYG and downloaded Reporo today. I have Siemens CX65. When I try to connect I get a mistake that I can't connect to GPRS. I tried connecting to internet with my phone and there were no problems, I could view websites. Can anyone help me please?...

How long ago did you make the purchase? Takes up to 24 hours to credit points. If you're still waiting after that email pigsback but I haven't heard of anyone having problems.

Try setting yourself up for "enhanced wap" on this virgin mobile page:

http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/services/settings/index.jsp

if you're not already set up for this. Could be that you are able to access internet through basic wap but need the enhanced version for reporo. Have you also taken up all the settings messages etc that reporo offer to send?

It was 46 hours ago now. I did e-mail them yesterday, late afternoon (after I boiled my eggs....) but have had no response and still no points.

Should I try forwarding the e-mails from reporo and cd-wow? It's bugging me loads now as I am only about 50 points away from my first £20 voucher order and these points would come in MIGHTY handy!

Sorry sherrybabes, didn't remember it was you who'd posted about your time being up before (boiled eggs and all!).

I'd email pigsback again if they haven't replied after a reasonable time. And I'd forward all relevant emails to make it easy for them to trace.

Yes, I have enhanced WAP. I know I did it a while ago and reinstalled today, but it still doesn't help... I really want my 500pp!...

LOL, that's ok, I didn't think you would have remembered. I posted that via the quick reply bit, otherwise i would have added a in there somewhere.

I think a second e-mail to PB this afternoon is in order, as it seems everyone else got their points pretty quickly.

And as for the eggs.... It has been suggested to me, on another site, to boil several other, not so pleasant things before now... Boiled eggs seem like an excellent alternative!!

I'm not sure then! If you've followed all instructions from reporo then I don't know what to suggest. When I got reporo sent to my phone there was a link that said "get gprs settings here", this sent a different message to try to set up your phone, not sure if you've got this link. Anyway, it probably the same as the enhanced wap you have already.

I'm out of ideas, sorry

Well it sent something when i said it was an E730. But when I tried opening it etc it said error trying to connect. So I asked it so send the GPRS again and nothing.

I don't know what the blinking heck I'm doing :wall:

I've never used my phone to surf the net (sounds way too complicated) is that why? I know my phone has WAP whatever WAP may be, but I've certainly never used it.

Technology scares me............:eek:
