I've just checked and there's been no reply so far. I'll keep you posted.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
I have found a way to refer yourself (to get your £5) and get your 50p cd if you have spare O2 PAYG sims and credit/debit cards. If you are interested send me a PM with your name and e-mail address.
All you need are the following, spare O2 payg sims (your first sim must not be an O2 payg sim), more than one credit/debit card, and a few e-mail addresses. You can sign up for as many different O2 payg sims or further debit/credit cards you have, whichever is lowest.0 -

An crashed when you try to exit Reporo!
I'm having exactly the same problem with a Sony Ericsson W800i!!:mad:0 -
Ok I'll be kind to everyone...
Basically, stick your O2 payg sim in your phone, let O2 automatically send settings and accept them.
Refer yourself with another e-mail address.
Log out of reporo. Sign up giving the phone number of the O2 payg sim, and a different credit/debit card to the first one.
Send reporo to your phone and download it still using the O2 PAYG sim. Remember to replace the application, if asked replace existing data. Do not start the application.
Turn off the phone and replace sim for your usual sim (which previously worked with reporo), now start up as usual, start reporo and order what you want with your reporo discount. If this does not work you may need to send the settings to your phone from your provider again.
Remember reporo itself will not work on an O2 payg card, but using this method you can get your discount and £5 referal.
If you would to thank me please send me a PM and with your name and e-mail address so I can refer you and get £5 for referring you. If you have lots of O2 sims and spare credit/debit cards you can refer yourself that many times. As I only have 2 cards, I only managed to refer myself once.
An O2 payg sim will *NOT* work. This method only allows you to use the O2 payg numbers to let you buy more cheap gear.
You need a sim, other than the O2 payg ones, which works with reporo, and this will be the one you made your first order with. You can make additional orders for each credit/debit card and O2 payg sim.0 -

Please read the posts below.. & more if you read this threadpoint3 wrote:Sorry KittyKate, but you are wrong.
You do not need to have O2 Mobile Web enabled on your phone to use Reporo.
Reporo works fine with O2 WAP GPRS on O2 PAYG, as you would have found out if you had tried it!mich_city wrote:All I can add that it worked fine on my Nokia 3200 which is on O2 Pay and Go plus the same for 2 other family members who are also on O2 Pay and Go.. had no trouble installing or using the programme on the first attempt of trying.. And have had no problems with the phone since0 -
We've had this debate many times over.
There are people who've got o2 payg sims to work and people who haven't (my brother included).
By all means people should try it but why give false hope?

You obviously did NOT read what I had to say. All people who have used reporo once, and have o2 payg sims, can use that sim (along with a different credit/debit card) to get another 50p cd. I suggest you re-read my post as I have done this myself. The key is an O2 payg sim lets you download reporo, but an O2 payg sim will *NOT* let u use it. You use another sim to use reporo and order your CD's.
No false hope at all, I have done it myself. It DOES work if you follow my instructions.
I gave special instructions for those who have a main phone (other than O2 payg) but have some O2 payg sims on the shelf and more than one debit/credit card).
The method I describe *does* work, but only if you have a sim which already works with reporo. Using reporo with an O2 payg sim does *not* work. I have ordered 2 things myself and got myself a £5 referral bonus with just one phone, an O2 contract and a spare O2 payg sim.0 -

Are people so ignorant not to read the special instructions I gave which make it work? Well should I bother trying to be helpful in the future? Lol.
So can we leave it at my method *does* work. Using reporo with an O2 payg sim does *not* work, unless you have another sim that already works with reporo and you use my method described above. I have ordered 2 things myself and got myself a £5 referral bonus with just one phone, an O2 contract and a spare O2 payg sim. Thanks.
My comments were not addressed to you.
Your 'method' may or may not work but it certainly wouldn't sit well with my conscience.
My comments were addressed to matt with regard to the ongoing discussions about whether o2 payg sim cards will allow reporo to work or not.Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Finally! I was really annoyed that I couldn't access this offer on my mobile (an old motorola), then this week got overcharged on a mobile at tesco.
It came with £1 credit on the sim, so I thought I'd give this a go. Thanks redrum for your excellent advice in the first post, my order has been confirmed and I only used 36p worth of credit.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0
