Well the guest at our christening rang NHS Direct and seemingly after answering their questions and describing his symptoms they don't think it's swine flu. Phew for the moment at least. Am in the West Mids and I know there's a lot of cases here so it's only a matter of time before some one I know catches it.
Had a nice walk round our local allotment. Got speaking to an old guy who gave me some very large yellow courgettes :T He was lovely and let us have a good nose around his plotI do wish I had the time to have an allotment. I like the camraderie they have there.

3 girls in dd's school have the dreaded swine lurgy - including one in her class! dd(12) was sent home yesterday with sore throat and ears.... yikes .... saw the dr yesterday and it's an ear infection. I do worry about her though as on top of all her ENT problems she has only one kidney. Colleague at work has it too as does her dd ... oh and a defendant in my court today but he didn't turn up.I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080
