Freeze them now. You don't have to freeze on day of cooking. I'm just about to go back to making my cider and apple bread pudding. We'll have some tomorrow night and then again Sunday night but then I'll freeze the leftovers for another weekend (which is when we allow ourselves puddings). If anyone wants the incredibly easy recipe - it's on the bramley apple website.0

Just had a quick look at an online supermarket website and you can buy brownies that have a shelf life of over a month. If yours smell, look, feel and taste fine......I reckon they'll be just fine!
Commercial products may well have preservaties added, or even packed to prevent tgem going stale. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Fiasco, disaster, I've got four boys staying and they don't like biscuits. I said I'd make some buns. There are two dozen buns half baked in the oven with no sugar in them! Is there anything I can do. Scrape out each case and try to mix it in. Or just accept defeat and start again?Norn Iron Club member 4730

Why not split them once cooked and add a sweet filling such as jam or buttercream with icing on top? This should more than make-up for lack of sugar in the actual cake“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

That's a good idea thanks or maybe sandwich two together as they don't seem to have risen well, they look more like rock cakes. Stupid me, rushing at things.Norn Iron Club member 4730

Let them put icing on them? That is sickly sweet anyway.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
