    I only have muffin cases and don't wanna buy any more cases...

    and can you make fairy cakes in muffin cases? Why yes you can - they will be bigger fairy cakes :) Just !!! slightly longer to your cooking time, or don't fill the cases up :)

    I'll add this to the main fairy cake thread later :)

    Did this last week for my friends daughters birthday - huge fairy cakes with lemon frosting - delish!

    Edited to add - we hid them till the kids were gone.....

    Here is another question for you then.. because I know you like them :rotfl:

    I have icing sugar to put on the top.. what can I do to make it taste nicer. I have lemons, limes, oranges etc.. can these be used to flavour the icing?

    I don't have any chocolate or sweets.. :(:(:(:p

    You can make fairy cakes in muffin cases, but IME, not the other way around :( I#ve tried it twice (to check that the first time wasn;t a fluke) and ended up with biscuits :(
