Yup, the overdraft is creeping up.....it is only to be expected.
BUT, again......look at the figures in your signature. You've made amazing progress over a relatively short space of time, when presented with a whole lot of challenging circumstances.
And for that, I raise my glass (or actually my take out cup of very strong coffee).

1st of November and my debt is (drum roll.....) £9884.59.
Sub £10k :j
HOWEVER..... this is only the long-term debt I've been paying off over the years and writing about on here. I have actually taken out a new loan as everything is changing.
After a long time of unhappiness and indecision, I have decided to separate from my partner. I've rented a house in another part of town and the kids and I move out next week. It wasn't at all an easy decision and I am concerned about my partner, who is not a bad man, just hard to live with.
So for the next three months I will be paying for both houses - my new rented one and this one. I'm hoping that three months is long enough for OH to form a plan for his future, and I hope that we either sell the house or he moved out so I can move back in, in which case I will buy his share of the equity from him.
Moneywise things will be very tight for me, and I am bound to move back into bigger debt, however I don't mind that as it is short-term and for a good reason. OH will likely struggle too and will have to investigate benefits while working hard to get back into earning.
I don't want to write more about the relationship side on here. Once I've moved and found out what my new SOA is going to look like (obviously I've been sketching it out in a notebook and scaring myself) I will start a new diary.
But for now, the children and I are very excited and lookign forward to our new home.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Good luck with your move.
REf the house, might it be less painless financially and emotionally if the house was sold? I only ask this as you mentioned before that there was a lot of equity in the house, and it might give BOTH of you the fresh start you deserveI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house!
