just to let ya'll know, I use buymobile.net and have done for years. The first time I used them about 4 years ago I got a 22inch tv, then later an xbox360 core and most recently a sony bravia 32 inch tv. My mother uses them also and has done cashback deals.

Every time we have used them, we have had our free gifts on time and without problems. The only time there would be an issue is if you had to send something into them to qualify for cashback by a particular date and you fail to do so.

Also, I will be using them again in a week or so as my contract is up and I fancy getting a PS3.
  • i know this maybe a bit late but i have used buymobilephones.net a few time now and i have had no issues. though i did not take out the caskback offer as there is a lot of hassle in claiming your cash back regardless of what online site this is from.

how ever i did take out several free gifts.

to date i have got : ipod classic, ipod touch, psp, ps3 slim, sonly vaio w series notebook all for free or for a very cheap price including the phone which always was worth £100 or more. never had a problem with them.

i now have my eyes on the galaxy tab and new itouch hope it all goes well
  • I have a mobile with them on a cashback deal. Not had a problem so far. Just need to make sure you follow the instructons, make sure you get your bills etc. to them in plenty of time, (Thy give me 60 days to do it so hardly a panic situation). Set yourself reminders on your phone or computer, Send the details to them by registered post etc. Not saying this would have solved everyone's problems but I'm sure there are some.
  • used these for a few years - so far received:
    - 300 auto cash (they send u a cheque rather than claiming)
    - Wii
    - 19inch tv
    - 2 42inch TVs
    - PS3

I would never do the cash back though because i know i would mess something up and how tight they are on deadlines etc. I agree most companies are the same when it comes to the cash back though - is an easy way for them to make more cash.

Here come the shills, a bit like busses LOL
  • Never had a problem... have ordered off them several times. Great handsets, good deals and brilliant gifts. The gift is totally free... so does it matter if I have to wait an extra week for it to be delivered? I'm not paying for it, and this makes me a very happy customer! :)

    This is just so suspicious....

Why are you bumping a thread that is over a month old?

Your second post on the forum was also about BuyMobilePhones which seems to suggest you work for them or know them in some form. Care to explain?

Theres also a lot of posts by users that have never posted before praising how great they are which just screams dodgy to me!

I did an upgrade through them a couple of years ago. They initally said they couldn't offer me the free gifts as it was only an upgrade, then asked which gift i wanted. I only wanted an ipod nano, cos mine was on it's way out. The guy said that he'd send one anyway. I'm presuming it was cos it wasn't a high value item, like a laptop of TV. Said i'd need to send my first bill, but about a week after I recieved the phone the ipod arrived. Needless to say, i was happy, cos i hate not having my ipod!!!! Pity the phone i ordered was a heap of sh*t :( And because it was an upgrade they wouldn't change it. Managed to sell it on so all wasn't lost.
Wouldn't mind trying again so i can get a LCD TV but most of the TV's are offered with 24 month contracts and with crappy phones. Besides, want an iphone, and would rather go through my phone company for one of those!

  • Here goes my first post on this site and the very first about buymobilephones.net, Just placed an order, and I received a confirmation mail with order number.
Since I have been reading a lot of mixed reviews, I decided to give them a ring and confirm if my order has been received and that when will they process + dispatch. After waiting a few minutes, I was informed that 'Oh it just like last hour went out of stock, so we are now waiting for this phone to be delivered before we can process'.. So really I don't get why did they not post this information upon checkout, I'd have certainly appreciated and maybe still go ahead with them since the rate they are offering is far better than three itself.
At the end of the call I was told I should expect my phone to be delivered by friday 12th August 2011.
Lets see how this one turns out.. (counting)
