Basically everyone (apart from me to a large extent) is having their caseload jigged around and nobody is happy - that bit doesn't bother me, i've just had 1 small task added. However, we are all being moved into 1 office, again nobody is happy as it's noisy and has a strange 'transient' feel to it. It's a bit of a fait a complit (sp?) though, so no point in saying anything. At the end of the day, I'm not a senior manager anymore, I'm a bottom of the heap admin. person however much my work is 'glammed' up with training and personnel stuff.
It's broken the spell of the place for me though and whilst a couple of months ago I wouldn't have wanted to leave, the thought of the office I'll be moving to has given me the kick to get back to where I was job wise asap.

me on my own would be out running all the
For me, this sums it all up - you having some quality time to yourself to do what you enjoy doing. Perhaps you need to start saying that you are going to putting your needs ahead of everyone elses. They might not like it to start with, but they will cope. You shouldn't be so exhausted just to 'exist'."Stay Wonky":D

Okay change of tac needed then - what you're seeming to say is that running is becoming a chore (mostly because you cant find the time)- in which case leave it alone for a while...come back when you're dying to run so much you might explode...you can go walknig or something else in the meantime so you dont lose your fitness
And dont sign up for any more races until you are sure you can train for them fully - it hurt because you werent ready for it (not the distance but the toughness) and you can avoid that with more training next time0 -

Sammy, even mums and wives are entitled to 'me' time hun. It doesnt mean that you love the kids/hubby any less.
I think we all need to sign up for another race to get our mojo backIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

they do Sammy and whilst moving office is a really trivial thing and to be honest, not something that has ever bothered me in the past over the years, this has rattled me a bit for some reason and just put me on edge a bit."Stay Wonky":D

I do get 'me' time, its not as if I don't look after myself, but running is just one more to add to the melting point. I can't leave Chloe on her own, both DD2 and DD3 work and OH works non stop.
I am already signed up for a half marathon in September - I am in two minds as to not do it...I will decide in the next couple of weeks when things have maybe calmed down a little bit.

thinking a bit more about it, I think its just that I have been tied to the house for the last ten days with OH - my childminder has been on holiday too so whereas I may have gotten out during the day I haven't been able to. She is back this week, OH is going back to the outside work tomorrow (rather than working from home) so I AM going to make some time to run during the day.....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
