Hello again!!
I feel that I am making some inroads already, have done another 45 mins overtime this morning :j
figured out that there is enough stuff in the freezer and the cupboards to do meals all week so we just need fresh fruit and bread!! :T
I totallly forgot though that my friends keep hassling me to go out so as a compromise I arranged a sleepover...properly with sleeping bags in the living room and everything  howinever, i cant really afford to get a takeout so am planning on making pparty type foods myself ( I can do the salsa quite confidently) ne of my friends is vegitarian so Im not sure what to do on that side of it though :rolleyes:Pay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -
Hi Kirstenc sound like you are doing really well. You have my sympathy with the OH thing and the think its ok if its in the bank syndrome! I have one of those too! Drives me crazy TBH. You could try making curries etc at home I started doing that and they can be lovely. You can also buy those Indian Snacks at Lidl very morish and certainly no good for the waistline but it keeps OH very happy, and feels hes not missing out on the takeaway. Also have you thought about a breadmaker, my wisest investment, makes lovely pizza dough and then you can put whatever topping takes your fancy, good luck for now.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Hi Kirstenc,

My most recent Mystery shop was for a meal so he came too, and he enjoyed it more cos its technically free!!
I think he is starting to realise that the quicker we do this, the quicker i'll shut up! (he doesnt know that im tackling the mortgage yet though )
Anyway, we are oing to visit Mr T after work, and I aim to spend way less than the £75 that is on my SOA.

There was a fresh lasagne reduced in Tesco so I have used that tonight for tea, theres half left so that will do for lunch tomorrow! whew, any way thats me done for today i think, im going to get some more stuff on ebay.Pay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -
I have just had a look at the bank charges thing and decided to see what I could technically claim and it works out to nearly 2.5k including interest
I am drafting up the letters now and will send it off to get in the queue. even half of that would be phenomenal!! :jPay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -

OH is driving me crazy again, theres a change!!
We are going to burnley next month to visit some of his family, just for a couple of days but anyhow...he hasnt kept any money for the train tickets to Im having to pay out the £110.
Slightly annouying but he assures me that he wont moan if i take it all out of his 'pocket money' next month. we have known for months and I have been putting a bit aside out of mine towards the hotel and have more than enough to cover!
He was very apologetic though so I forgive him!Pay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -
I am losing my mind right now,
OH feels like I am taking his money away from him, and that I am trying to control his spending.
I have discussed with him the best way to make use of his 'pocket money' and we agreed that initially, he would withdraw £100 a week for his own uses, and that I would do the same. (mine will go to the debt, obviously)
I asked him that, if he has any left over at the end of the week, that he 'donate' it to the overdraft, or whatever we are paying at the time, and he went on a rant about the control thing and etc etc
in all honesty I feel that if we took a minimal spending money each like £20 a week for a short time, we would be able to pay the debts and have all the extra money for ourselves.
In my head it all makes sense but i feel awful about it
Anyway, rant over.
Thanks guysPay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -
We got home from the cinema yesterday (The proposal is mighty funny btw:rotfl:)
to find that a collection agent has been to our house to collect money from an Ann Summers account.
I was a rep with them for 3 years a while back, left but rejoined a year later. It didnt go well for me the second time, so I left and returned my kit in feb of this year.
Turns out they never received my kit, but they never chased it up after i sent them a letter assuring them that I did and that I have the proof of postage.
Fast forwsrd to yesterday, now they say that I owe them £385
I know that i DO NOT owe this money at all, but I am scared that they will come in and take my stuff. I'm not sure if the best way to deal with this is to pay the collection agent and try to claim the money back direct from Ann Summers??
I have the money to pay them, but am going to try to work overtime and stuff like that to earn the amount they need.I dont want to have to give all that money to them despite sending my kit back. I thought that any parcel over a certain weight was automatically sent special delivery, but i dont think this is the case now.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
