    Thanks scrooge,

the minder drops us on rainy days if she can but she has 2 young kidds of her own and isnt keen on getting the little one up to take us home, when its wet she keeps her up!!
we had a torch but just a kids one and more for DS benefit than mine!!

Im thinking about alternative route but its along a road with no path, and would add a good half hour onto the trip, possibly longer. I will have to check bus timetables to see if we can get one from childminder to the toen centre (opposite way lol) and then get our normal bus home, but after 6pm they aint very often at all!

Anyway, your right about the scarecrow!! not so much scary as fashionista lol haha, all in the name of fun!!

Kirsten - i'd def look into options about that bit of road. It isn't worth it if anything was to happen. Definately think about it dear!

Your house sounds scary - i think we are going to carve some pumpkins tomorrow and make some cakes. I need to do some research me thinks for some cheap gruesome cakes that will entertain DS (who is 2 and easily entertained) and nephew (who is 4 and slightly harder to entertain)

Your shop sounds brilliant - i've done one and it is 90 quid! that is for 2 weeks though but still i'm very jealous of your total!!!! :)

  • Get a free personal alarm from your police station. That makes me more comfortable walking around glasgow at night, (of course glasgow town centre is so lovely and i am totally safe I dont really need this... hahahah).

Claire,I can imagine, glasgow scares me alot!! and I may think about a personal alarm, even if it stops me getting the jitters, that would be good!!

BH - cooking everything from scratch really does help, and I know its old advice, its the best kind!! I dont think I have bought ready made stuff for weeks, and I feel better health wise too!!

Haha, I know what you mean Claire, have similar feelings about bonny dundee!!

money point of view is looking good!! get paid on friday and have done couple hours overtime, so should get an extra £50 or so!

have been able to turn the heating down a bit, and have figured out that the hot water only takes 10 mins to heat, so I am now turning it on when I get up, having a cuppa and then we can all get showers, I am then turing the water off again for the day til I get in at 7ish. Must be saving a bit of the old gas money!!

I am still on track for getting rid of OD by Xmas, and have bought tonsa pressies for dirt cheap! its great! xx

OMG...have just actually LOOKED at my sig and I only have £450 left of my overdraft...that will definately be paid this month, what with mystery shops and cashback money that I am due, plus any other money, this should be half gone by the time I actually get paid again.

OOOOOh, Im so excited! Credit card...you're next!!
