The weather here is quite nice actually, not warm though just sunny so Im happy!!
I have a lovely tan and although we all ended up catching the cold (typical eh!), we had a fab time, relaxing with not a care in the world!! Had cashback money in the account too, so now only owe about £950 on the overdraft!
Am getting the finances in order just now, as I couldnt access the bank account while abroad, you should have seen the state of me...panic stations!!
But after a few (or a lot) vodka lemonades and a fantastically funny drag act, i started to worry no more...and guess what?? nothing bad happened!! YAY!! xxPay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -

I dont know what im going to do after my overdraft and credit card are gone. Hopefully overdraft this month and credit card next month. Im sure people on here will have suggestions the best way to get rid of the loan and the dreaded windows im pretty much ignoring for the next 5 years til they are gone.0 -
Ps just wondering if you have realised your nearly at the 10k mark and have paid off over 4.5k, thats impressive !0

Glad you had a good hols!!
Back to the grinding stone though0 -
thanks jonny!
I havent been on here for a couple of days, still in holiday mode I reckon!! But I am back to work now so reality has set in!! and the moneysaving and debtbusting is back on the front burner!
Good thing is that I have been using the ridiculously cool freebies and grabbit bargains on this forum and have bought so many xmas pressies for hampers etc, and spent next to no money, therefore, although these months are usually the least debt busting of all, im still doing quite well (did my first grocery shop of the month on saturday there, now thats impressive!!)
I have finally sorted the banking for the month, was getting myself confused with being away for the week, but its all in line. No mystery shops though which sucks, but I'll get there Im sure!!
How is everybody?? good I hope! xxPay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -

the cat got his nose into the roast that I had set out, with the hope of using for pies etc, so i had to bin it, darn that animall!! he was just looking at me all gormless like 'oh, did YOU want this??'
oh well,at least i know now that foil wont foil him like it used to lol

Yes im really organised this year. Spent about £65 on presents so far for the kids, mostly special offers when together would be worth just over £120 thanks to the 'grab it' thread. :j0 -
Love the grabits lol
Have just signed up for a mystery shop, where I actually get to stay in a hotel for the night, its not too close by, but I have booked train tickets for me and my mum and am classing it as her birthday present, which is at the start of november, so killing 2 birds with 1 stone!! getting to spend some quality time with my mum, and Im not even paying for the hotel (which BTW, looks LUSH!!)
Just made some curry, all with stuff I already had, got 5 portions out of it altogether, good stuff!!
All in all a good start to the week! YAY!!Pay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0
