  • Hehe, yes Claire me too, get paid on friday so thats a bonus!! Although all my bills for next month come off before I get paid lol, mortgage elec etc, all come off on the 1st and I get paid on the 2nd so I am always very careful to ensure that there is enough left in the bank for the broing stuff!!

The bonus however is that I get paid twice in october (as I am on 4 weekly pay) so although this month goes in after these bills, next pay goes in before the next bills...same with OH so effectively we are getting paid twice with nothing to spend it on....XMAS is sorted, as is some of the OD and some of the house decorating!!

Wont send till the next pay though just in case something goes wrong, like it always seems to!!

One again though this month looks like an extra grand in the bank, Its amazing that I feel we are doing nothing different, but are managing to not spend a whole thousand pounds in a month, we are effectively not spending one of our wages each month even though we are taking £100 each a week to spend, its actually working really well, as we are not overspending that.

Very proud day today I think, roll on outrageous october (sorry DC, stole that!!)

  • Feel free to be extremely outrageous in October. With the next month looking like that I think you deserve a huge well done. A whole grand ? Wow.

  • vibes are officially coming your way!! Discipline is the key i think, I no longer need those shoes on the new look card, and DS doesnt need to wear designer clothes etc. It really is in the mindset, and although this month hasnt been great for me on thehome front, I have still kept well within the limits!!

    All very exciting I think!!

The hydro have finally caved, and They owe me £240 on elec and £100 gas, so that is a plus that I should get next month too!!

So Oct will be very outrageous for me, and I will hopefully pass my positive vibes to you lovely people! x

Today is the last day of september!! I get paid on friday, and am feeling very relaxed about it all...everything is covered and i feel good! Im not having to transfer money from here there and everywhere to pay the bills, they already paid lol.

I know that it isnt going to be this way every month, but I feel that I have a good basis for ensuring that it doesnt go back to how it was. Thats very important!!

No, YESTERDAY was the last day of September - today is the first day of outragous October!! (though I had to check my diary to make sure I was not in a timewarp!!)

I hope October is good for you! It certainly sounds as though it should be!

thanks rainy, I never even asked how your holiday was?? hope you had fun!!

I have just had a gander at the bank, and was right, there is over a grand left over, but I think I will leave a tad bit in there as a buffer rather than leaving the bare minumum, so I reckon I will be paying of around £300 of my overdraft and popping the other £300 into the 'buying things for the living room to finish it off' projec, saving £400 for that random emergency withdrawal, or if the washing machine dies (its been thinking about it I can tell!)

Must ebay hard this month, cos I can see the end in site, I will have paid off my OD by xmas if I keep going, and will have my CC paid by valentines day, just as I had planned (or hoped!)

Anyway, I think I had best get to work...I am in training all week and its very draining (oh look Im a poet and didnt know it!) hehehehehehehe! x
