didnt make any turkey curry as OH bought takeaway (out of his 'pocket money' haha, training!)

therefore thats on the menu for tonight, will probably have to buy some green beans for it, as I dont have any but thats it.

Scratchies got me 50p today, which is certainly a bonus!

todays list is...get antibiotics from pharmacy as DS is running low
    make turkey curry
    do 3 surveys
    check for mystery shops again
do xmas list (have loadsa pressies, but need to make sure they are all there and that everyone is accounted for!)

got DS the drumkit for the wii, as he has 2 guitars, and we are about to set up a family band!! OH has bought him a pool q aswell, this is something that they do every 2nd weekend, but the full sized ones are way too big!

Under budget for xmas by £100 which is great!! hip hip hurray!!

I feel a bit like I am babbling at the mo, but I thought I would mention aswell that I am finally building the new bed on Sunday, and have a list of final touches that I need for the living room, it is papered and the dining table has been built, just need a few 'aubergine' accessories to pull it all together as Lawrence L-B would say!

Hope everyone has a good day today, I will be catching up on diaries tonight x

    What a weekend!!

DS has been a bit unwell, chest infection (which he takes antibiotics to prevent, but this obviously doesnt always work!!) so he has more antibiotics and steriods to take for a week.

therefore a number of my plans have gone awry, we are still sleeping on the old bed, and I havent done any surveys!!

Good news is that he is OK to go to school today with 4 hourly nebulisers, and I dont have to take the day off work!!

will be back later for a proper update x

  • Ah..sorry to hear DS is poorly. Glad he is starting to feel better though.

Don't stress about the small stuff - main thing is that he is feeling better xx

  • Thanks BH, much appreciated.

DS has been fine at school today so we have reduced back down to just getting a nebuliser at night. Thatl do nicely!! I am going to tuck up with a book (or MSE lol, no need trying to kid myself!) and a cuppa tea!

Online shopping arrived yesterday, total spend of £31.04 to add to my grocery challenge.
Finally made the blasted curry tonight, and then realised that I had forgotten the green beans. tastes fine without, thy just add a bit more to it!!

childminder paid us a £22 refund today for a day off that she took last week, so I have popped that into the overdraft. not long to go now at all! it's exciting! x
