The solution to not liking ironing is not to do any ironing! I own large quantities of clothes that can be worn straight off the airer as long as you hang them neatly. Mr. Fire Fox always used to iron his t-shirts and jeans but doesn't bother anymore, and they look fine within half an hour of being put on. The only thing either of us iron is a shirt/ blouse. :o

  • thanks firefox, I usually do that, but its the stuff that does need ironing that Im having a bother with!! I remember my gran used to iron everything...even SOCKS!! strange old biddy lol but I loved her!!

Allow me to explain the £800 entertainment money...if you have been reading for a while you may remember me mentioning that OH and I were having some tiffs about the old 'control', and that we had agreed that £100 a week would be taken out for each of us and spent as we would like. haircuts clothes games and takeaways eyc are all included in this.

To be fair, I am usually only spending about £20-£30 of my budget and keeping the rest aside for the overdraft (worked out well last month!)

There is no budge room with OH at the mo, and while I would love to throw it at the debts for 4 months and pay everything off but the loan, its not really going to be productive to the relationship....and that wouldnt be good!!!

    (men are sooo irritating!!)

anyhoo, thats the new SOA, changed electric provider, saving £8 a month etc, and will be able to get out of my phone contract soon!! gonna go PAYG!

  • God I am lazy!!

Did nothing I was supposed to lol, just sat and watched a movie on my new gigantic tv...this is bad...I need to start thinking positive and actually just doing it.

These darn lulls are coming far too frequently, and Im getting a bit fed up.

OH isnt helping with his incessant 'Ive been at work all day, Im not going to do that' but then 'weekends are the only time I have off work, I dont want to spend them working'

That just means hes never gonna help out!

Im just really frustrated with myself for coming on here with a plan of action and then not doing it, whats the point??

Ok, so Im going to scream into a pillow for a few minutes and then actually DO something...not sure what yet but I'll figure it out!!

Yes ive recently started a diary and sometimes you feel like nobody is reading and think whats the point. I read others including this and see how much debt you have paid and that gets you going again thinking it can be done therefore motivating you do get things done.

    Keep it up!
