Morning all,
It's been a lovely day over here. Did the house out, washed, made a loaf of bread & cleaned the pantry. DH had the day off today so we went to the accountant. She lives on the island. We have to put our tax in this time of year. Got a good refund this time as well :T so that will come in handy for our holiday. Takes about 2 weeks.
Made an appt with the hairdresser for Wednesday. DD coming over this weekend. At the club they're having a Xmas in July dinner on Saturday night so we'll go to that to support it. All proceeds are going to care flight. Off to Bingo tonight. The jackpot should go off tonight so I'm hoping to be very lucky.
Bitsy I can't see them.
MSD That's fantastic. You must be proud of yourself. Well done.
Hope you enjoy your Monday & <hugs> to those that need them. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

Her dress was beautiful but due to the layers underneath and the muggy weather and being manhandled she got awfully hot in it!
The cake had a muffin in the one corner with a candle in it but those pics were taken when we'd just finished it!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Hi all.
Bitsy - she's gorgeous! Lovely photos, and a beautiful cake, too. Well done.
Well, it's gloomy and wet here today, so no time in the garden. Looks like I'll have to do the paperwork. I need to get DH's end-of-trading accounts done, so that we can take them to the accountant when we visit the UK in August. TBH, I haven't looked at them since we moved here, apart from putting the whole lot in a box out of the way. I'm not looking forward to doing them but I shall rope DH in for a couple of hours tomorrow (it's bank holiday then, for Bastille Day). I also have to do my own self-assessment - yawn, yawn.
Dinner will be pork chops, with leek and mushroom sauce, new pots, and a lovely round courgette that came from my SIL's wonderful veggie garden here. She's a great gardener but this is her first attempt at veggies, and she's doing really well. The round courgettes in the shops here are much more expensive than the long ones, so it's a real treat.
Well, I'd better get to work. At least the housework has been done; not that I'd planned to do much in that department, anyway.
Back to the coffee and work.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Not sure if I've got privacy settings on these so if you can't see them I'll go back and have a tweak.
Rang that potential client and she's coming round this afternoon so want to have a proper clean as not really been able to do that since Saturday and the kitchen floor is desperate for a mop!!!
have no idea what's for tea tonight. Not even looked at planner yet but have plenty of stuff that I can rustle up for tea.
Have a good day everyone OS or not.

Its not hard. You just have to set up an account (helps if you have a yahoo email account actually - I had one already due to freecycle).
Once you have set up your Flickr account you can download your pics from computer to flickr quite easily although with 500 it might take a while
www.flickr.com - have funLook forward to seeing the twins!!!!
