OS Daily 13 July

Hi there! This is the Daily Thread for Saturday 11th July! This is an 'Over the garden fence' type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!
As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or slow internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred.
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly, but if not, it's not a problem.
Please do not start a new Daily Thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two Dailys' live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new Daily Thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “Hi everyone, hope you are all well” type start is just as good

I hope that none of you mind me starting the daily Was not sure how to satrt it so iv just done it like this.

Well i had my medical yesterday did not get on too bad just got to wait now to see what thay say.

Im up and about early today, Iv been awake since 3:30:eek: I woke up and could not get back to sleep again.
Bit of a busy day for me again tooday as im looking after the twins again on my own all day.

well im off to get another coffee so i hope that you all have a good day

Good morning Halight & all who follow.

I couldn't sleep either & gave up tossing & turning at 5am and got up. At least the kitchen is looking good as I've done it already :rolleyes:

Plans for today are to dust & vac throughout the house, mop all hard floors, clean internal doors & vac sofa's. I'll have a look at the FlyLady list too, think it's the kitchen today. Dinner this evening is meatballs in tomato sauce & spaghetti, I'll make the meatballs once I'm dressed as I like them in the fridge to firm up before cooking.

Morning. Work today. Not sure how to get there yet as my car needs to go to the garage as is broke down over the weekend.
Seems to be one of those expensive problems:eek:.
OH has a job interview today, so it's all a bit edgy around our house.
I hate it when things are not okey dokey....

Well busy day today- DS1 is dropping off our grandson soon before he
goes to work at 7.30.
Dd has the first night of her year 6 school play tonight so is very excited
about that lol
The house is getting painted at the moment kitchen was done on Saturday by Dh and Ds3 and is a lovely mint green colour although it says
different on the tin!- need to get some flooring for in there too soon. Got
a skip to order too as we are trying to declutter the whole house (what fun!:rolleyes:) As DS1,baby and girlfriend are moving in as the house they were
renting is not in a good state. Well you are supposed to lose your children
as they get older- we are gathering them back in plus 2!:rotfl: Still Ds2 will be off to Manchester Uni in September for his buisness course:D

It's because I can do it so much quicker with none of them around Plus it means I'll be finished earlier so can spend time surfing the net later :rotfl: I'm full of beans now having had my first coffee of the day and a tea.

Only 1 coffee and 1 tea
Im on my 4th coffee and im still not full of beans
I have to admit that i can just drink and drink the stufff all day long

Monday morning - urrghh. Was hardly in over the weekend, its monday and I have an ironing mountain, a paperwork inpile mountain and an untidy house. Also the washing seems to have mysteriously grown overnight am feeling very tired, am on second cup of tea then will be black coffee for me this morning.

So really need to get on today, also need to pop out on a business errand so will get my head down now and get as much done as possible. Must remember to menu plan and get a tesco online shop ordered.

Feeling quite overwhelmed at the moment but hopefully once I make a start it will feel much more manageable.

So probably not too much OS today and no idea whats for dinner - am such a fraud on here today :rotfl:

Morning all,

No rain here at the moment, but it looks like it will later, I have at least two washes to do today.

Also need to hoover through, mop floors and clean kitchen and bathroom, I need to do an online shop, and I have a glut of tomatoes on my plants, which I will need to turn onto something :T

This afternoon dd and I need to go and get measured for new bras, I can see it being an expensive afternoon :rolleyes:, still can't to without one at my age

Quiche new pots, and salad from the garden for dinner, dd seems to have taken to be a veggie very well, and so far has eaten everything I have put in front of her :T

Ok better get on, have good days all xx

Not sure if I've got privacy settings on these so if you can't see them I'll go back and have a tweak.
Rang that potential client and she's coming round this afternoon so want to have a proper clean as not really been able to do that since Saturday and the kitchen floor is desperate for a mop!!!
have no idea what's for tea tonight. Not even looked at planner yet but have plenty of stuff that I can rustle up for tea.
