Thanks Carlsberggal. That's what I thought about the offer. And I'll chase them up on the lease details. If they mess me about I shall put in a complaint!
Methekidsetc.... glad you popped in. I was a bit worried when you mentioned the dodgy tummy along with everything else. Glad they are giving you anti virals but it's a shame the depot is so far away. Do you have a friend to could pop there for you? They will need to take some identification or yours (passport etc.) and something identification of themselves before they'll be able to take them.
I think it's important that we all start thinking about making a network of flu friends just in case.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hello, still feeling really rough but have got up to catch up on thread and watch Ugly Betty from last night which we recorded as too tired to watch it last ngiht.
Really want to change the bed but feel bad about asking DH to do yet another thing! He's been so good, really helping me yesterday, getting me drinks and things to eat and going shopping today (he's got the day off work today). I need to get him to water my plants too. I'll see what he thinks when he gets home about the bed, I was going to do it last week but I hadn't got the bedding washed in time to change it. I need to be more organised when it comes to washing the bedding
Pauper hope you are better soon
Hugs Helen
Welcome Boodle
Pigpen, I thought it was you in the paper! Great for that lady, you can definitely do it. How many kids do you have?
Carlsberggal well done on the house sales
Chunky hope you feel better soon and that OH behaves himself
Natty, my DH is the same sometimes, he listens to me worrying but he thinks worrying is pointless so I know what you mean about your DH refusing to talk to you about benefits – men are problem solvers and they think that if there is nothing you can do there is no point worrying about it. It’s true, but also harder said than done! Always come on here or PM me if you are worrying and I will listen and we can try to calm you down a bit. Worry and anxiety is a big part of depression, and explaining that to your DH might help –I’ve explained this to DH and he is much better now he realises that it’s not as simple as “stopping worrying,” but the worry is part of my condition and I can’t always control my worrying. I’ve also explained to him what I want him to do when I’m worried/crying/upset and he is much better now, and if he accidentally hits on something that helps I’ve made a big deal out of telling him it helps – hugging me and stroking my hair is amazingly soothing! HTH Hugs to you, and good idea about seeing the psychiatrist – oh, just remembered I need to change my appointment for October as I’m on holiday then
WelcomeBHE
Thanks Sunnygirl, I’ve made a note of what you said so I hopefully I will remember nearer the time to go to Black Rock Sands – might not be sitting on the beach weather in Oct, but I love walking on the beach in winter so hopefully we will be able to go there, it sounds wonderful
Hugs Beki, what a shock for you. At least he seems fine at the moment, but a big shock for you
Jo, well done on the bargins
Witchypoo well done on tackling the tax credits
Hermione sweetheart, you don’t need to quote other people’s lists – in fact it’s best not to as they might have changed/amended/deleted bits and pieces. Pigpen puts the new list each day on the first post on the first page, and you can easily copy and paste with a right click on your mouse HTH
Greenbee, well done on the weight loss
Boddy well done on the walking, weight loss and spotting your mum’s bruises, hope all is ok with her, does she know how she got them?
Chicki, well done on doing so much around the house yesterday
Holly well done on getting through your last day and I hope you are better soon
Lil_me hope you can decide about the house
Me, I really hope you are better soon. Could you get a friend to go and pick up the anti virals?"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
