Talking of holidays... SS, are you going down to Devon again this year? If so, I'll try to get down when you're there and meet up.

Went to the gym... I have lost half a stone in the last three weeks! Not the stone in a month I was aiming for, but not bad!

Went to work... went out to lunch... I am seriously unmotivated, and am going to try to avoid going into the office once I've completed the mid-year reviews. For some reason the guy who is taking over from me thinks that I and the others who don't have jobs are going to continue to work as hard as we did previously... I think he might come from a different planet to me... and I'm not quite sure that he's cut out to be a people manager if that's what he thinks!

No flying yet today... but I'm planning it :o

Update on FB for those of you following the discussion... suggestions welcome!

    Hello all

    Happy Belated Birthday GYSEZZ

    Chunky she looks gorgeous

Helen Jelly try the DFW boards for inspiration (Or Pigpen) - you say you are making minimum payments - be careful because that wont reduce the debt. But ask on there - and (((hugs))) because it is all so wearing...

Carlsberggal our very own one-woman property boom! Wow!

You're all fantastic - I cannot tell you how brilliant it is to share news and to know that people you have never met are wishing you well

    *mwah*

Now I shall go clean my grubby lounge...

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone - I'm looking forward to getting started on this properly!

Gratefulforhelp - According to the flylady site, a control journal is like housework manual that you build up slowly. Mine won't be as elaborate as the one demostrated on flylady though, it'll be a much simpler version. :)

... do you need a yahoo address in order to sign up for FlyLady emails?

There's no such thing as a silly question! You can sign up with any email address. There are a lot of emails from the flylady site but you can choose to have just one daily update or no emails at all. I found the site too American and the reminders came at the wrong time for UK. I tried the uk yahoo flying group but the emails were still coming at strange hours so I gave up on them. I recommend this thread instead! ;)
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

    I agree with you rosieben.

i found that although the idea of the emails was great they didn't really work for me. They are very set for example Friday maybe day to clean your bag out (mine needs doing!!)and I like that we have a little variety on this thread and some new things that get added etc.

The fifteen minutes slots were good but I like having a list of things you can look at in the morning and see what I can attempt and mixc it round if suits.

  • Haven't been able to go online all of today as our computer was hit by a virus last night and we took it in to be cleared today. It cost nearly £60 to get it wiped clean

I feel in such a better mood now that I can get onto this thread and have a look at my list. I must be addicted - it's only been a few hours :o
