Haven't done anything today :o I was planning to do it after i picked the children up from school + nursery, but almost as soon as we got home, my BIL dropped DS (3 years old) on his head while he was flipping him over his shoulder! EEEK!

So off we went to a+e, where a lovely nurse checked him over and said he was a cheeky monkey and hopefully he'd be fine. He certainly wasn't showing any signs of concussion when he was running around the waiting room anyway :D LOL

I've got a checklist of what to look out for now, just incase. And it certainly wasn't what i was expecting! I always thought that being drowsy and being sick were sure signs of concussion, but they're not! The NHS checklist she's given me says it's NORMAL to -

    feel sick
be sick up to 3 times (more than 3 times needs a check-over by a doctor)
be drowsy and fall asleep (must be rousable every 15 mins or so though)
can be given calpol/neurofen as they won't mask concussion symptoms

ALL the above i thought were signs of concussion! And i would have never thought to give calpol/neurofen incase of masking the symptoms! Just shows how times change doens't it, and i'm not even 30 yet! :D LOL

Anyway, i'm feeling rather sick - the adrenaline's still pumping - as it was a horrid smash - gives me the shivers every time i think about it - brrrr! So i won't be FLing today :o I'm going to give the kids their dinner, have a cup of coffee, put them to bed at about 7.30/8.30 respectively, and reeeeeelax :D

Will deffo catch up on my chores tomorrow with a vengeance! :) xx

    New Weekly Challenge...
    1. clearout under the stairs
    2. read a book at bedtime at least 3 times per week 1x done
    3. File CD's into the box you bought especially for them and take them out of the carrier bag they are in!
To do list in conjunction with weekly challenge above
    Take ebay photos and upload
    late planting
    Make cabbage collars
    cellar
water plants last thing at night

    TODAY'S PLAN:
    [STRIKE]1xHHC - revise for job interview[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]2xHHC - revise again for job interview[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]3xHHC - try interview outfit on[/STRIKE]

Read through dtuff for interview and now I find out if I get it there is no parking facilities apart from Pay and Display. Means I am driving further and pay for parking too! Train is no option as will take 2 hours direct or a change an hour and a half again plus due to walk to station plus train fare £30 per week. As the pay is the same looks like it might be better to stay where I am for now or see what the other interview can offer in a couple of weeks. Don't want to sound greedy but I can't fork out any more for travel than I do currently. Luckily I still have a job to move on from.

I'm going for the experience regardless and to get an interview under my belt with what to improve on in the future.

Todays extra's completed and another revision session.

one more read through at bedtime and in the morning

Right, I went and picked up my freecycled dyson :D

Then I decided to treat DS to a KFC for tea, went and had a look in the Next clearance shop and bought a Media cabinet for the living room! I had seen it in the next catalogue but thought it was a bit expensive.... that said, it was £180 when I saw it and it is now £115, but still.....

    http://www.next.co.uk/shot.asp?extra=sch&b=X43&p=826&s=4&n=Homeware&pid=120-403&subset=1907&exclude=00IP00%7c00I00&returnurl=%2fsearch%3fp%3dQ%26lbc%3dnext%26uid%3d206307525%26ts%3dv7%26w%3dmango%26af%3d%26isort%3dscore%26method%3dand%26filter%3dsubset%253a1907%26nxtv%3d0%26nxti%3d0&bct=%26quot%3bmango%26quot%3b

I got it for £40!!! yay! Thats the problem with DVD's computer games and carp lying about solved!

I also bought myself a new chest of drawers for my bedroom.......

I cant find a link for those in the new catalogue so they must have been from the old one.....but they were £450, reduced to £100..... and they ARE MASSIVE!!

    Woo hoo, problem solved!

    Right gonna do some flying......

ETA: beki - hope your DS is ok, Im sure he will be but you dont half get a fright! I bet your BiL feels awful! Get him to do your cleaning to make it up to you!
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

pigpen thanks but I need to know the answers to whether trade union subscription counts as deduction, and charity donation from earnings too whether its a deduction.

Also query about FSAVC personal pension. Not sure I can get my question understood on phone but may have to - however I will definitely renew by phone cos i have ruined the form already!

    This might help - http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/start/claiming/income-hours/employment-income.htm
