Toots - I've done the master bedroom

I won't be getting star 5 for DS room though as I've turned my attention to clearing a bit more in the garage. Kids rooms will all get gutted and sorted over the holidays.

DS2 happy with the £8 he made at the car boot sale.

Just doing dinner and then I need a HHC in the kitchen which over the weekend descends into disarray

I have sorted, out of the shed, some toy gardening tools and a doll's buggy. These will go into work for the reception class to use, not least because they have a new outdoor area.
I am umming and aahing whether to put the Flymo on freecycle, it probably only needs a new belt but my sis gave me a qualcast which I am using and I prefer it tbh
so that's a bit more stuff cleared.
I am going to do a summer list which will include repair bikes, paint fence and shed, clear shed. I might even try to get my lounge decorated. depends really where I will be in September...

Have done some shredding and about to check bank statement.

Soappie. Mum wouldnt understand if I asked her plus her speech is really bad again. She did enjoy a walk though and her cigs. Im not sure about DD as she often has tummy upsets. She doesnt have a fever though.

  • I am doing much better than I was a year ago when I hardly ever cleaned and never cleaned the windows or kitchen! The house doesn't take so long to do now as have been flying since the beginning of the year and I have got the HHC into my head and they help me complete the task even if it goes on for longer!

That gives me hope for the future.....

I have spent the last - seems like hours trying to help DS with his statement - but cannot get him to see that it would help to know which courses he was applying for as it might give additional things that he could put in statement. Still I have sent him out with 2 loads of washing to hang on the line for a break.....Nice and sunny here.

Still feeling carp - now feel really sick with a sudden attack of hayfever and now I cannot see out of one eye as it is all swollen. Have taken antihistamine - so should improve in about 20 mins.

Boddy - sorry to hear about you r Mum's bruise - did you take a picture on your phone? If so down load with dates - I know you have no concerns but it could be helpful if you did in the future.

bye for now - back to the UCAS site - oh what fun - NOT.

thifty thats a good idea to get some of the survey points done yourselves - have a great week away - will give you time to think of jobs - go through the house room by room in your head and write a list of everything you want to achieve.

  • Finally we have cleared shed number 1 :j:j
Got rid of loads of things - some binned, some for the charity shop and some big bits to either freecycle or car boot.

I just had a moment in the garden which was good but a bit ewww at the same time: I tipped out one of the gro-bags that I was growing spuds in to get the spuds for tea and I picked up a very muddy looking one and it was squishy and moved. It turned out to be a very well-camouflaged frog. It was fun watching it for a while though.

I've got different teens in now BTW...towels have been handed out as it has GUSHED down here!
Pleased you got the card - I saw it when I was looking for one for my post-op friend - in fact phoning her will be on my list this week actually, along with my four carry forwards from last week. Good job you're not on FB Toots as I am having a right whinge on there. Appreciate the comments from those flyladies who have read and posted. I don't want to worry my mum with it as my dad in going into hospital for a stent shortly...one of my mates has just had an op (hyst) so she doesn't need the stress so the support, both here and there, from you lot has, in all honesty, kept me sane. In fact, having a houseful of teens every weekend (for that is what it feels like) is another reason for my hoping for a career change. I just get so stressed when I have work to do. But this is their home too and they should be able to invite their friends round.

Afternoon ladies! For some reason OH and I are sitting watching T4 on the Beach - which I think one of the teens switched on, and then left. Not entirely sure I'm going to be a great fan of Dizzie Rascal...

DS1 went up to London for a gig last night, and came back at 1.30am - OH picked him up. I'd already had an emergency dash to collect DD from a party because her BF had a row with her, then walked out and left her - he really needs a smack. So, when the alarm went off this morning, I switched it off and went back to sleep - and woke up at 9, with 45 minutes to get to the hall to do coffees for church - aargh! I made it, just!

After lunch I had an hour on the allotment, and came back with raspberries, redcurrants, the last gooseberries, beetroot, new potatoes and lettuce - yum.:D

Apart from washing, no flying done today, so I won't get a fifth star - but DS1 is sorting his room, and finding stuff to list on ebay.
