OMG - I have just done HHC in ROD - it was so so so bad. I have ditched 4 carrier bags of rubbish and made 3 piles of books/papers and another of note and school books for DD to sort and preferably get rid of.
Have another linen bin full of washing - all hers apart form MY dressing gown which she must have taken from my room - cheek. Also collected loads of plates and bowel and glasses - so more washing up then.
Right her bed is now clear - floor not full done but i will need to leave at 4.30 to get to Lincoln and pick her up after work so I have limited time. I am going to hoover what floor I can see then hoover the bed and remake. She has broken drawers in chest of drawers - the bottoms have popped out of the groove IYSWIM.
will also put 1 or 2 loads in WM before I leave and also wash up again.
I think I will have to do this every week while she is at work - hopefully it will get better!
I am going to reheat the lasagna from last night for my late lunch first!
MENovember NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -
Me - I'll join you for the late lunch!
Washing is in (almost dry, the rest is on the airer). I've hoovered and washed the floors in the kitchen, utility, hall and loo, and cleaned the loo. Plus I've relocated a certain amount of stuff. So although I haven't made much progress, it's improving.
After lunch I think I might go for a walk, as it might help get my energy levels up!0 -
Hi everyone - hope you've had a great week. I've been working away from home for a few days, so no flying done, got home last night and just flopped! Well I've had a lovely lazy morning, so now I have a HUGE list to do...It's even more urgent at the moment as the MadCat Mummy is coming to visit on Friday, so the cleaner I get the house this weekend, the cleaner it will stay! Well that's the theory anyway!
I won't post the list as it will probably break the thread - basically all flying since Wednesday needs to be done as well as a few odd jobs from Monday and Tuesday. Doing everything at the w/e basically defeats the purposes of flying doesn't it? Oh well, I shouldn't be working away for a while, so I'll just have to get into more of a routine.

Lol that would be meI also coined the term RoD :rotfl: although recently my dots have come a bit undotted so to speak! And it feels like I have a HoD just now

Sexy we went to Weald and Downland when on hols last year (I went when I was little and loved it) had a great day there. We got there soon after it opened and were rushing round at the end to see everything.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
I have just been descended upon by a horde of teens, DS his friend and their girlfriends, who, conveniently, are friends.
They don't half take up a lot of room but better here than hanging about on the street I suppose.
Unfortunately I appear to be the only parent who will give them all house room AND they want to bake
they want to make DS's childhood favourite FLATJACK. Off to Morrisons then and I suppose I had better make sure they can be fed...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Well... That dot to dot HHC consisted of
stripping and remaking all the beds,
shoving some bedding in the WM
sorting laundry from earlier and shoving it in appropriate rooms
snarling threats for the kids for later when they get home
finding what appears to be ga-zillions of stray socks
I'm off out on the town with work colleagues later (end of term...yay!) so best think about getting presentable.. it takes a while!
Hoover first maybe??LBM 26/12/08
