well thats another half hour done - still not making any progress on the list though
Ah well at least some of it is - cleaned pet bowls (only 1 cat and she sure aint getting a wash) and mat and window ledges where she sleeps, gathered up all laundry and have 2nd load in and on (plus another load in the tumble), spend all morning chatting to DS and doing things together on and off (even made pizza together for lunch :D), stripped my bed as it was long overdue a wash :o and made frikadellar which is now in SC!
Feel like I am doing ok.

Quick queston - does anyone know if you can freeze grated mozzerella (sp?). My mum gave me a bag the other day and it will never get used up so thought I might chuck it in the freezer?????

Hello everyone  The children are off on Scout camp this weekend, and DH has just nipped them down the road with their tent and kit. DH and I are off to the cinema tonight, and he's booked us a table for dinner  Not often we get to do this, so I'm looking forward to it :grinheart

You can :T Don't be down hearted on your HHCs. The idea is not to try and tackle the whole house, but to really hit what you can do in 30 mins. You'll get there :j

See you all later, Penny. x

Elf - someone here uses the term 'dot to dot' cleaning or decluttering - hopfully given time the dots will join up and the room will be clean and tidy - I think this is a great approach too. (Sorry can't remember who first thought of this)

Right I have deleted 100 emails each from both email addresses - have removed them from both the inbox and th trash can.

now will finish tea and off to tackle HHC in the ROD

Bottom line is we need to move. I honestly believe that this has to happen sooner rather than later definately before winter because I cannot cope with the stress and tension of all 4 of us being stuck in here for long winter nights.

I'm looking for rental properties at the mo although I suppose I could get my own mortgage......we just want a home, this is a house that isn't a home.:o
That is exactly how I feel, I am so desperate to get out of here before the winter. We can't move til October (because of our stupid tenancy agreement) but we are on Homechoice so hopefully if we bid like mad from August onwards we might get something! And hopefully something that will allow us to have a dog as this will really mean I have to go out of the house to walk it!
This place is ok, it's been nice here, but we will have been here two years by then and that is long enough. I'm going mad stuck in this tiny place - so I understand how you feel Triker about wanting to move.

    Hex, your house sounds lovely

    Have a great holiday Daydreambeliever

Rach, good news about the pay rises and well done to DH for passing his exams

Me, I hope your DD’s first day at work goes well today. hope you are feeling better soon

    Welcome back Tilli-tot

Cycling Yorkie, the snow in the freezer made me laugh! What was your DD planning to do with it? Sorry to hear your eldest has ME, my mum has it too so I know what it’s like

    Hugs AnW’s

Jinky you are funny! I know what you mean, I was sitting at the traffic lights the other day and thinking that they needed a good scrub and would the council mind if I went round cleaning all the traffic lights! Flylady has warped my mind, I see dirt now, whereas before I never noticed if things were dirty

Elf hope your LO is better soon

PenPen enjoy your date tonight with Mr Penguin

I didn't wake up til nearly 11 this morning! Had a terrible headache, but have been drinking water like mad this morning as I suspect I got a bit dehydrated after sleeping for so long. I've watched Inspector Morse and done some washing up which is good.

My plan for the rest of the day is to clean the loo (cleaned the bath and sink on Monday but never got round to the loo), and hang out the washing which I washed yesterday but didn't hang out. And try to do some tidying up, and do something about dinner. DH is out all weekend, I was meant to be out yesterday at our Bible convention which is on all weekend. Hopefully I will be able to go with him tomorrow if i feel a bit better.

It's a bit wierd that all the "grown ups" are out today - Pigpen, Toots and Soappie - i feel we should do something really naughty while they are gone!
