Oh I know its not a hard and fast rule - just thought I might have pulled my finger out and got loads done today but truth is I just cant be bothered :rotfl:. I was working on the idea that little steps can take you a long way but I like the phrase dot to dot

hex Your house sounds just like mine. We have the dry stone walls too. I hate it when the cows knock stones off the top. Our house is a building site too, downstairs but upstairs is really improved. We keep all the cement and plaster boards for next door in here too so it is like a building yard.
pigpen I dream of living in a little house too. I would love a tiny two up two down.
elf As a HE teacher in my past life I would say freeze any cheese. I froze loads of Brie after DDs wedding and it came out fine. Cheddar tends to go crumbly after freezing but is still ideal for cooking.
A general question.. Is it wrong to put the central heating on in July? I am really cold, my toes are like ice, I am wearing a fleece jacket indoors!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

hi all
what have we done - poor Triker
Elf - 'tis AnWsMum who perfected the dot to dot method which is, I believe, a system for dealing with one thing at a time.
AnWsMum (((hugs))) but I hope happy memories - how lovely that that was your forever house and you will stay there, in the house you both chose for your family to grow up in.
I have a STACK of ironing because I woke up early and put more washing in. So much so that both lines were filled and I have had to wait to peg out even more. So I am about to put yesterday's ironing away and do another maidenful.
Welcome back Tilli - missed your av! I am a Dilbert fan.
Sexy - that sounds like a VERY productive INSET day.
