Leave the feedback till later. You might get his back up and make it worse. :-/
Remember, if you want to leave bad feedback, wait 90 days minus a minute. This way he can't give it to you in spite.
You were the victim, he should not be able to give you bad feedback, so don't give him the opportunity.

Unfortunately it isn't a straight 90 day rule. Some listings disappear from your ebay page at 88+ days and some linger a few days past the 90 days. There are also back door ways of leaving feedback after 90 days.
If you are really worried about getting a neg in return then don't leave a neg. If people don't read the auctions which clearly state they are buying a link they are unlikely to read the negs either.

how very unlucky to be sucked into a trap like that,
maybe the fact you were getting a absolute bargain clouded your vision.
scammers like that give ebay a bad nameA shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.0 -
I don't understand why ebay let these people go on doing this its completely immoral. The funniest thing i've seen is someone paying £120 for a Crystal XBox 'box'.

Hi there,
I was away for a few weeks so couldn't come here to update my complaint with PayPal.
Here is the reply from PayPal:
"Unfortunately, PayPal was not able to resolve this dispute because the item
purchased was virtual or not physical. As a result, we have not taken any
action against either account at this time. However, this complaint has
been noted in the seller's record for future reference."
I read a few stories from this site that how helpless PayPal is, I have now experienced it myself!!
Just want to say 'thank you' to everyone here trying to help, I will be very careful with Ebay from now on...0 -
spmjang,
That's rotten luck.
How much longer will PayPal and Ebay be getting away with ripping off honest buyers and sellers? There just seems to be no protection from being scammed. They have the gaul to charge for their services, and when you need their "help", it all falls apart. If a buyer breaks the rules ie by selling a link, then the purchaser should get their money back, from Ebay.
Let's hope Wirm's campaign gets Ebay to pull their finger out. I'm sure I read sometime ago on the forum that Martin is going to tackle certain Ebay issues in the new year, I'm sure someone will confirm or otherwise.0 -
