I've only used them once a few weeks ago and the order arrived very quickly and everything that I order was there. I saved a fortune, I was a bit of a spectic at first but reading about them on here I thought I give them ago - my order was just over 20 quid with delivery, but we eat a lot of fajitas and enchiladas and I got 8 kits for 3.92 so I was well chuffed.
I would recommend them, but as we have a B&M a stone through away I don't order tinned stuff or jars but I get the emails and will use them again.
Hope this is positive enough for you!0 -
Ihave used them for about 9 months. Last order had some coffee and 4 kitchen rolls in it that I hadn't ordered. They were packed in a seperate box within my larger box.
I did email them and received a reply quickly with basically opps don't know how that hapened than you for informing us we will investigate etc etcMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

I've placed three orders over the past month and everything has been great. My first order was missing two items but these were promptly refunded after I emailed them. I will definately be using them again.0

I've not had a problem, but you just reminded me to place an order for this month.Aiming to be Debt free by October 20130

I have been using them for quite some time, over a year now, as they did deliver to my old home.
Its never been a problem to me. Only ever had one lot of crisps that tasted a bit iffy, but at the majority of my shops being me spending between £50 and £80 and saving over £140 odd I am not complaining.
Mind you most of the foods end up going off to different friends and families, and being the mother of 4 late teens early 20's family all living away from home they raid my store cupboard with glee when they visit, and usually disappear with carrier bags worth of things for thier cupboards.
If they dont have something, happened to me once or twice, the money is refunded into my account so no problems.
Timing the delivery is the only mystery, as they dont have a mobile for me, but I can track my delivery roughly if I want to.
All in all, I enjoy my forages into the unknown as well, and have tried things that I would not have normally paid full price for.!!
Lets hope your just having a glitch!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Thanks for all your replies folks. It really has helped. I have placed one more order and decided to forget about the last one to go walk about. Afterall AF have saved me loads of money and it is exciting to receive the parcels.
Best wishes

There is an existing Approved Foods thread in the food forum. I have commented on it about my past/recent orders, recent complaints include a very badly damaged delivery (there is a pic on the thread of the package) and missing items charged for and leaked/split goods. Last weeks delivery i was charged for an item that was not included in the delivery and the item used up 3kg of weight which i could otherwise have filled with other goods.Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
