Have just had my first ever order delivered & have nothing but praise.

I had been apprehensive about ordering after reading some of the comments on here but everything I ordered has come with no substitutions & safely packed. I was given a delivery slot of 1.25pm - 2.25pm & it arrived at 1.30pm!

Looking forward to ordering again but will have to limit myself as there is only me to cater for.

In my last but one order I got 6 of the 1lt grapefruit juices.

I drank 4 with no problems, the fifth one was nasty with a very strong yeasty smell. The last one fine, so either just a rouge one or, they do not go too long over the date.
Glad I didn't order any more, I'm a little grapefruited out now, what with the case of cans as well.

Have to say though all this buying from AF has helped me with my saving this year, could not have done it without them.

I received another delivery from them yesterday. I was very pleased except for the missing the second tin of chick peas being mysteriously absent. I don't really want to complain about a 49p refund, but i could have ordered 3kg of other goods f i'd known i was only going to have one tin of them in my order instead of 2. I always try to take it to the maximum weight y'see. Makes sense!

I have nothing but praise for this company, have ordered 5 times now, only had one breakage but received prompt refund. Everything I have received has been great and I've saved £'s over the last few months. My kids look forward to receiving each delivery and seeing what we've got this time.:j

My order came this morning--everything resolved from the 'panic' yesterday --but I too have a missing item; I've sent an email so I dare say I shall hear tomorrow.

I wasn't overly impressed with the dried pineapple as I was expecting it to be a different product, but that is my personal choice & I could have made the same mistake if I'd seen it in the supermarket.

The Offspring are enjoying the little treats I'd included, & I will not hesitate to use them again if I find enough things to make up an order worth the postage. Again a personal thing; there's a lot of stuff that we don't use but that won't stop me from 'window-shopping'

Douwe Egberts ground coffee at less than a pound each. Now, that truly is a bargain! Just a shame I have no money at the moment to place an order or I'd have had a lot of them

Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with Approved Foods?

I really hope that it is just me as I have really appreciated them in the past and don't want to have to stop using them in the future.

It seems that the orders I have put in over the past few weeks/months have mostly gone awry in one way or another.

Please respond - with lots of good experiences if possible to boost my confidence.:)
