I had visions then of you wearing a nosebag & snuffling your way through it.:rotfl:
have you got a spy camera in my house hermum:rotfl: wasnt far off your vision......lol....
the thing is i hadnt had an order from AF for a very long time...as i must admit nothing interested me, and i felt i was ordering for the sake of ordering, and to be honest even though i saved loads of money on the snacks etc, i wouldnt have bought that amount of snacks at hte supermarket...
ok apart from the last order ( the first in yonks) where i totally pigged out on the snacks ordered.... i am going to be more realistic.....alledgedly;)
so the fish dressing stuff ( breadcrumbs, thanks Raksha)) would be used for other things too then? apart from fishWork to live= not live to work0 -
I received my first and last order from AP yesterday. Two jars of cheese sauce where smashed to bits inside the parcel and they went over everything! And a packet of crisps had burst and was spread around the box too. It was an awful mess and took me ages to clear it off the rest of the stuff, i wont be shopping with them again...especially after reading the problems that other posters have had with damaged goods. I expect to only be offered a refund for the 2 jars of cheese sauces. Very dissapointed and wouldnt recommend them
Sorry.... i forgot to update my previous post. I emailed approved foods and had a reply from Kelly, and she said that the mess that my parcel had arrived in was unacceptable, and she gave me a no quibble refund. Didnt even ask me for a pic of my purchases. So i am very pleased with this, and may consider buying from them again, but only tinned foods, no packets or jars! lol.

And the website now says they ship to Europe! Kind of feel they don't really need anything extra to cope with.0 -
had a reply from Kelly :A - missing stuff being despatched and with me tomorrow  :j
Tomorrow is here and 48 packets of peanuts came in a plastic envelope, driver said he wished all the parcel were that size!0 -
I've had two shipments from them and it all has been fantastic. The only problem is that most of the great deals are on sweets and snacks rather than meals. Just been on their website today though and seen this http://www.approvedfood.co.uk/SAUCES_AND_PICKES/Loyd_Grossman_Tomato_and_Roasted_Garlic_Sauce_2kg
What does everyone think? Do you think it would still be at its best? Add in delivery is it still worth it?0 -
oh you shouldn't have lured me to that sauce... as it's 2 kg for the price of a normal jar it has to be a bargain, especially if you're having a gathering. Most of the 2kg sauces can be frozen in portions apparently. Got the sausage casserole and a salsa hiding under the kitchen table and waiting for their moment.0

have you tried the loyd grossmans sauces in the 2kg tubs before? will they last just like tins?0
