I had literally just seen this when I was placing another order for OH to collect next week.
Mind you, apart from this freebie, there isn't anything that exciting on there at the moment. Or perhaps there is not much on there that I haven't had already!

My order, clearly marked as usual 'for collection' was delivered to my home on Thursday. I didn't get a response on Friday - hope it was a glitch rather than the facility being withdrawn. The Worksop shop, now open only on Friday and Saturday, is no longer worth visiting, as stocks are really run down and in fact haven't picked up since the warehouse moved to Dinnington.0

glad you mentioned it, as funny enough hubby and i were talking about this, this morning,
we had heard there was alot more stuff in the warehouse than what is listed on the website, and we were thinking about doing the 4 hour drive in the van, and stocking up....Work to live= not live to work0 -

My order was collected as usual on Friday with no problems, but that was from Dinnington.
It's a shame about the Worksop shop as that is a lot easier for my OH to collect from generally.
Did you phone Andrea and tell her you had placed the order and it was for collection? The reason I ask is that she told me to do this rather then rely on a note on the order. She said it might not be noticed on the order.0 -

I'm pleased to be able to save you (and anyone else) a wasted journey. There's a tiny fraction of what's online available in the shop (it's separate from the warehouse, which is on a different site, and not open to the public). All the stock has been there a while and is a distinctly tired.
We once met there a couple who used to drive up from Cornwall (!) - I hope they have somehow found out how disappointing the shop now is before setting off.0 -

The last time I rang Andrea about collection I was told that there was no need to phone, and in fact recently I've been finding it difficult to get through on the phone at all. I've emailed, and will try phoning again after the weekend.0 -
I placed my first order with them this weekend, I hope my items are delivered safely. I put my home number on the form so they won't be texting me, I wonder if they will contact me some other way or just chance their luck. Here's hoping all goes according to plan :think:0

I never got a phone call over several deliveries. Then bought an orange mobile which works here, and last time got a text.0 -
I had hoped to visit the shop at the end of last week as I was in the area but found out the shop is no longer open. If the main warehouse is now sited away from the original shop, it's presumably become too complicated to make sure the shop has sufficient variety of stock in it and it may also be that it's just not cost effective with the number of people visiting. It is a shame because we used to love our foraging trips to the shop but we will still continue to order food from AF. We've had a few issues with packing but nothing major and are still very happy with the service we get.A [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE][STRIKE]C [/STRIKE]D E [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE]G H I J K L M N O P Q R S [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE]U V [STRIKE]W [/STRIKE]X Y Z0
