No substitutes. The chocolate shoes are so cute, it's a small box, the shoes are like xmas tree decorations size and in date so I'm going to give it as a little gift. Ordered doritos and they arrived as "mystery flavour" and twice as many, I expect dh will eat them anyway
I will be eating nut roast every day for a month
The Doritos are lovely but very strong.
I would save them for a night when you don't have to go to work the day after.
I guessed what flavour they were straight away but my husband thought they tasted like beef flavour monster munch.0 -
One more question, I've decided I am going to order, but to my mum's address - I wanted to pay with paypal so will this still be possible?
Thanks0 -
I don't know, but there is a forum on AF website that might answer you or someone might've asked before. AF phone number is 0114 360 0061 don't know what their hours are. I use googlepay0

Hi, I made my first order yesterday, how long does it usually take to get your order? I've kept looking at the site & yesterday for the first time found enough of what I wanted to make it worthwhile, I hope.
Has anyone had the nut roasts yet? I love getting parcels, so I'm really excited, I am sooooo sad. I woul have liked some of the choccy shoes but couldn't find them so I think they must have sold out. As had Ryvitas. Does anyone find that they order too much & end up wasting stuff as it's inedible by the time they get to it?0 -
I ordered tuesday evening and it was delivered friday morning. But when I've ordered on a thursday or friday it takes longer, like the weekends are ignored, but I'm rural so that might just be me. I'm eating the packets of Asda nut roasts, I love them, but I am vegetarian! Actually I microwave them rather than roast, and often add this or that to them before cooking - yesterday I found some smokey bbq sauce I stirred in before nuking. I haven't wasted anything ( yet) but I have given masses of stuff away to friends & family. Ideally we should have a food buying co op for these parcels, but haven't yet found anyone near me to join with, so the kitchen is overflowing today.
Started on the tomato chili Orzo today, it's ok but took me ages longer to cook than the 10 mins it said. I'm either going to halve the water or soak it first next time.0 -
I ordered the wild mushroom orzo, & cous cous in wild mushroom. I'm not vegetarian but like vege meals.
I have thought that once I've tried it will see if I can find someone locally to put an order in with, if only I had a friend.0 -
I have never had to throw anything away because it has gone bad.
but I have given things away because I am sick of the sight of it, but it is really hard to tell, we got tons of cereal bars that I thought would last a year, they only lasted about 3 months. Other things like crackers I have ordered 10 packs and wished I had ordered more.
On the other had we still have a lot of packs of cashew nuts that I thought would be gone in the first week, that have been ignored for about 6 months now.
I like the fact that they sell so many sauces and relish type foods, salad dressings and such cost so much right now, also whenever I see olives or olive oil I bulk buy. Also the expensive teas that I could never normally afford. (Thirty pounds a box online!)
We have had a few thing "not to our taste" like the sugar free jelly pots, (my sisters kids loved them) but NEVER anything inedible.Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

what is the best way to let dan know that a major bit of my order is missing
i have emailed this evening delivery note states 2 boxes on label on box 1 of 1!!0 -
Call them first thing in the morning. Ow, not sure as it is the weekend, but definitely by telephone.
I made about 4 orders, and everyone had some problem, they did get sorted out but it was a hassle. And to be fair it was not always their fault (DHL) I got to the point of thinking "I will give them one more chance, if ANYTHING goes wrong this time I will not order again"...........Funnily enough I have never had another thing go wrong since..........(touching wooden chair here)Ebay 13........1583.46/2000.00 Amazon sales 54/50 Etsy sales 63/50

Received my order this morning, which was a surprise as it says Awaiting Shipment on the site and I haven't had an email to say it was on the way. Luckily (that sounds bad) my daughter is off sick so I can't go out anywhere.
Anyway, did anyone order the Cherry Nutri Grain Bars, 7 boxes of 8 for 99p?
I didn't realise the best before date was Feb 09 but just tried one and it seemed fine.
After saying that I haven't bought them for years but it tasted and looked ok.
Considering they only cost 99p for 56 bars it was worth a gamble.
If anyone ordered the Cross and Blackwell Rice, they are larger packets, 50% extra so 160g instead of 110g.
Now, where can I put these 36 packets of rice that I ordered.0
