yep my son will be trying to sell them on, but i dont think he is going to make millions...lol... he sold 2 today for 10p each..

fair comment if i was ordering 100's of boxes, but in all honesty the boxes that i ordered will last us a very long time... next time i promise i will only order 3....like i normally do...

so sorry if i caused any problems or upset by ordering the amount i did...

but i must admit.... i do feel a bit sick now as i have eaten a few more than what i should have today:cool:

Might not even be to do with that CTC. Wasn't having a dig, your son selling a few cakes on is hardly a crime!

They have probably done it due to the general popularity of them.

    Seems everyone loves them;)

no worries didnt take it as a dig, but i think you are right they are VERY popular, and i dont think i am the only one who orders a few more boxes ...lol..

but i can see their logic if they restrict the amount we can order in future...

i did point out to Dan that another website were selling them, and by all accounts Dan is the only company that gets the 'seconds' so the other company must have been buying them via Dan some how, so maybe this way he can also be sure that no ther company is selling them on by the box etc...

hope that made sense.... but i am sure my son selling a few in school isnt going to be any threat... my son will have to go back to buying cheap chocolate in tesco and selling it on at a profit ...

  • Ordered mine on Thursday & received yesterday morning. Most things were there although I agree with some others that I wish they hadn't packaged some of the crushable items at the bottom under the heavy stuff. Apart from that everything arrived safely - the glass bottles were very well packaged - lots of bubble wrap to pop.:D

A few things were replaced with others. Maltesers hot choc with Hilights OK.
Apple high juice with Citrus barley.
2 Milk chocolate brazils with 20 Fruitabu blackcurrent boost & 1 Kasztanki.
Half the yummy Apple Fruitabu replaced with the Fruitabu blackcurrent boost:cry: - I now have 50 of those OMG - I wish they were ALL apple BUT they will get eaten.

Had to try out that dried chicken & did it in the Mussaman curry sauce. (After rehydrating & pouring off the excess water)
The curry sauce was OK BUT I wish I hadn't made up so much with the chicken. I was going to freeze it all after making. All I can say is I wish we had animals!_pale_ Now I know why I never like/buy chicken pies - I think I came across this before & that's why I stopped buying them?

The only things I wish I hadn't bought were the chicken _pale_ & the Kasztanki chocolates - far too sickly sweet _pale_ & I do have a sweet tooth. (It did turn me off chocolate - maybe it's a great anti-chocolate remedy?) The Dove cinnamon & orange chocolate was also not to my taste.

I suppose £3 worth of (to me) non edibles in a total order of £53 isn't bad. Next time I'll be a bit more choosy on what I buy. The rest of the stuff was a bargain.

Now to find someone who has a very sweet tooth with animals that I can give the things I don't want to!;)

    Well folks...

Hands held high as possible getting ready to be shot down!

I ordered 10 boxes of the cupcakes, BUT.... These were distibuted throughout my family as 1 box of cupcakes and the postage charge wouldnt really be a saving!! So all my family had a box each so not being really greedy!!

I also had skittles, not tried yet but they look good, I had a box of the maryland cereal bars yum yum... Flapjacks are great, onion soup was great handy for work, I also ordered some bertolli baked bites and they are just stunning!!! Toothpaste mentadent x 2 should keep us going... Tick tacks bounty bars and maltesers so it is a good job we had the toothpaste!!

Cant wait to also try the Curry and arrabbabbia or what ever its called looks great and will last us ages!! (2 of us!)

Looking forward to taking a drive to the warehouse at some point for a day of buying!!

Thanks to the team at AF, used the alternative delivery and was fantastic only a couple of days!!

All this fattening food 2 weeks before my wedding, is this a good thing.... ARGH!!

Cleaning meats? I don't understand that one.

Just make sure you don't leave the lemon juice on the chrome for too long. Just rinse off with water and buff (so I've been told!).

Here's the latest on my most recent AF delivery, which came just a few minutes ago. I got some lovely lemon shortbread biscuits - they are very similar to the chocolate chip shortbreads Waitrose sells. I can't wait to try the organic bean and tomato soup as I have a rotten cold and soup sounds just the ticket. The nan bread is also quite nice. I don't eat curry, so I eat it as toast. I also stocked up on the macaroni and cheese packets as these are good for making a quick supper. The bars of the Prestat orange chocolate are smaller than I had expected but it's ok - I'm going to give them to a chocoholic friend when I next see him. Oh - and smoked manuka sea salt! Has anyone tried this yet? I got a couple of jars, thinking that if it was a success I would give one to a friend who likes to cook. Lastly, the Ainsley Harriott sticky rice is just like the rice I would get from the local Chinese takeaway, but for about a quarter of the price. All in all, a good haul.
