Mewbie isn't around any more. He's over in Bulgaria looking after 7 flats that he's bought and is in the process of painting them white before renting out. I had a postcard from him the other week as he hasn't got the internet set up at his new place yet. Seems to be pretty happy but was having some trouble working out his sums on the yield. He had originally based his plans on an 18% yearly income, but turns out he put a zero in the wrong place and it's actually 1.8%. Still, as he said, a profit is a profit.

Could it just be that he changed his mind based on variable factors? Nothing really wrong with that.
Absolutely. Indeed I welcome such behaviour. Alas to my mind geoffky posted in a manner which allowed no room for compromise on his predictions. He was (and probably/perhaps still is) IMO a poster who dismissed all contradictory evidence to his point without the courtesy of any reasoned debate.
All that said, either something has changed his mind, or as has been suggested before, it wasn't so much a belief as a wish for the future.0 -

I'll just point out that I am not responding to tittle-tattle.
Hey get off Mr Brown's keyboard you! It's rude to jump into someone's pc seat while they have temporarily left the room, mewbie would have never typed that, he was a sucker for tittle-tattleChuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
