Transatlantic - which airlire?

Just wondered if anyone had advice on choosing an airline.
We are going to fly London to Seattle, San Diego to London and three airlines come up with the same price (within 10 quid or so).
Which would you choose out of American Airlines, Delta or Continental?
Cheers

I haven't flown with American airlines or Delta but have flown with Continental. I have to say it wasn't the most pleasant experience. I'd compare them more (in terms of service and comfort) to a UK budget airline rather than one catering more to the transatlantic market. Having used British Airways, Aer Lingus and Air Canada to cross the pond I'd happily fly transatlantic with any of them again (even if we have had luggage issues with BA twice!).
Basically, if I had the choice, I wouldn't fly with Continental again.Norn Iron Club Member 3300 -
Have flown with all three and they're all much of a muchness to be honest. The big American carriers are all pretty bad compared to good modern airlines, but they'll get you there safe enough.
Personally I would choose by the convenience of the flight times, number of stops, length of layover etc.0 -
Have a read...

Also, see who has the best economy offers as it seat size/pitch, entertainment etc.

I'd pick the one that gives you the shortest possible flight, fewest connections & which doesn't require you to get up at some ungodly hour of the night as most US airlines are much of a sameness (poor)0

ive flown with american airlines before and they were ok. like our fellow MSE's have said, go with the one who can offer the shorter flight times and that offer the best convience for check in times, etc.0

I"ve flown with AA and Delta, and I prefer Delta... free booze you see, compared to the others which charge!!!

my work head offices is near delta home airport and anyone who travels has to book with them. Not one person who flys with them likes them and they hate the idea that we dont have to. Flown AA and they were ok but not as good as BA or KLM.
have you checked ebookers they have some excellent fares at the moment, we got over easter flights to Atlanta normally +350 for 260 last week with KLM and they were still 350 on the KLM site0
